Google has released Gemini Pro, their latest large language model, and they are promising a big step forward. In this video we explore if that is true for producing code (python) and how it compares to the current leader of the pack OpenAI ChatGPT w/ GPT4

Hey man unfortunately your a bit misleading in that you are using Gemini Pro and not Gemini Ultra. The former is worse than GPT4 even according to Google`s documentation. The latter is unfortunately unavialable.

Thanks for the comment. Yes you are correct Gemini Ultra is what Google says will be better than GPT4. And according to the banner will be available early 2024. I still think Gemini Pro is a huge step forward for google and really brings it back as an AI leader. I will do another video on Gemini Ultra when it is available. Going back and forth between different LLMs can also be useful. Throw Claude2 in the mix, too. In your sample case, I would have put the better Bard code for redaction into GPT and refined it.

Yes that's a great idea. I actually had that scenario in the video originally but took it out because the results weren't consistent enough. I am waiting for Gemini Ultra and will do a more thorough video, with perhaps Claude in the mix. Thanks for watching!
