We can still see them in the future. We have the A330neo 800 and the 900 series. Not the A330 we used to see but the fusalage is still the same. Some airlines have young fleet of A330s for example Philippine Airlines fleet of A330 is no more less than 5 years old as of today.

Quantas, Malaysia airlines, Air Asia and Singapore airline made one touch to the ground.., However Quantas, left landing gear made the touch first..., and that made the aircraft swing from left to right during landing. To me Singapore Airline made the smootest landing, followed by Malaysia Airlines, Air Asia than Quantas.

Likely due to prevailing winds in flare. Even with pylon engines the best pilots come in with one wing slightly low to counteract crosswind drift ( if any ) and slight opposite rudder as needed to align nosewheeel with centerline and avoid sideload/swerve at cntact.

Hmmm.... Tianjin is real close to the top three I would pick. Singapore, Qantas, Cathay would be the order of the top three for me. I am impressed though, that Tianjin used no reverse thrust on landing; nose came down smoothly with no bounce. Singapore had a slight bobble on the nose gear while in the roll out. If they bounced the mains, its either a bit too much airspeed on landing, or the sink rate is a bit high. Watching the rate and how smoothly the main gear boggie transitions from rear wheels to front wheels is another indicator of a good landing. Another fine compilation. Cheers
