I recently switched from 3:2 to 4:3, and I'm not quite sure what I think of the difference yet. 4:3 feels better for me, but my performance isn't exactly better or worse overall. I think I'll stick with 4:3 for now, even though I've been on 3:2 for the longest time

I first started on 16:10 after finding out about the different aspect ratios. Then switched to 4:3 for the longest time 😅 and recently switched back to 16:10 cause the quality looks better. But 16:10 , 4:3 , 5:4 are the ones I would choose out of them all

the best ones are probably 5:4 (you gotta react fast / have a low ping or else you won't have fun.) 4:3 (most people run this) 16:10 (again most people run this) and 5:3 is fun too,sometimes. for FOVs i think you should have it above 84. but you explained it way better than i did,so that's a big W.

5:4 is the best for everything! With a NATIVE 5:4 monitor of course! I never changed shitty 16:9 or 16:10 monitor my 5:4 dell 22" monitor! Brutally difference between the wide screen useless thing and the native 5:4 purity! Your eyes standards are 5:4 or 4:3 everything else is useless

I usually run native aspect ratio (ie 16:9), but tried 5:3 for the fun of it ages ago. Kept it at that since then. all other ratios just feel kind of squished together or dragged apart to me now xD And as for the FOV, 90. Always. Gotta see more lul

Almost a good video but should've talked about mouse change. High fov makes small adjustments big and the opposite for low fov. Also I do have the best answer (setup) So high fov players have VERY low mouse dpi and low fov players have higher dpi to cover more space. Also tarkov has taught me this, low fov is the best. You get more pixels of the enemie and same goes with aspect ratio that stretch. If there more pixels of the enemies head and it's literally bigger. Then scientifically and faculty low fov makes you have a better chance Obviously there's multiple if not limitless variables, the biggest being not being able to see enemie thats out of sight. But game knowledge and awareness trumps all.

Personally I use 16:10 with 90 FOV. The Res I balance focusing to me. A bit wide and tall. Whenever I use curved monitor usually I use 3:2. For some reason when I tried use 16:10 in curved monitor my sens are messed up tho

Well it's really up to you. If you like zoomed in and want to have more focus you want to go with the one i said. If not then 16:10 or 5:3 is good. Try 5:3 since you have played 3:2 and 16:10. Also make sure you find your sens for each aspect ratio cause its different

ty for the share; i think i 've got problems with r6 and 4:3; perspective seems to be bugged. for example in peaking, ennemies seems to see me before, and when i come back to protect myself behind the wall, the bullets hit me, like if they killed my ghost. last time, i stopped my run at 10cm behind the door , and i explosed with the kapkan like if i stepped after the door. maybe bad settings in nvidia pannel or connexion problems??? i don't really know

There is no reason not to use 16:9 unless you're playing at the min FOV already and want something more zoomed in.

in my opinion its just a "illusion", i like playing on 16:9 and i always play on 16:9 since 2015, even when i was a comp for few months, there is no way u can see MORE on 4:3 or other, its just a illusion, also i love medium settings, on low game looks like tetris and im not really sure if u can see more on low, i think people hyped low settings to this point when everyone thinks low settings are the best settings, imo medium are the best for quality and seeing enemy EASIER and BETTER

I have an 21:9 monitor and using 21:9 is really good, you have a good fov and still have the center not too small. But my performance in 4:3, 16:9 and 21:9 are the same, really bad hahaha.

Pesonally I use 21:9 but I have a 2560x180 21:9 Monitor so it doesn't looks like this, and with 90 FOV I can see probably what you would see on 16:9 with a 120 FOV
