We are Eleise and Lawrence & Nyh - A young family from the south of England. Like many people the pandemic gave us a shake up! While watching hours of Mark Weins in Thailand - We had our “Ah ha” Moment. We decided we wanted to travel.
Enjoying working for ourselves, we didn’t want to give up our business and decided it was entirely possible for us to do both. So we set about making it our lifestyle to work in the UK for a month, and then travel for a month - month on, month off…. until our little boy Nyh goes to school! We want to inspire people that you don’t have to up-sticks, sell all your belongings and leave behind family to be able to see the world.

This used to be a hidden gem. Also it’s right next to Royal Palm hotel, the beach there if you cross the rocks is probably the best on the island

Hi there, lovely family great videos. I’ve got a bit of a different question, I’m a white man from England and my wife is black and from Somalia. We’ve got a mixed race child and are looking for a forever home where we can potentially settle down. Right now we both work in Saudi Arabia but will be ready to retire early in a few years. We’ve travelled all over Asia and we went to Mauritius for a weeks holiday and loved it. You’ve stayed in Mauritius for quite a while, what’s your honest thoughts and experiences being a mixed race family in Mauritius? Could you live there permanently?

Heeey. thank you for watching. Wow.. I'm not sure I can answer that question. When we travel, we deal mostly with people who's job it is is to be welcoming and pleasant. Mauritius is a melting pot of all the shades of human beings. My opinion on living there wouldn't be accurate i'm afraid. Sorry i couldn't help. My advice would be to go back there and stay for a few months to get a real feel for it. I wish you and your family all the best 🖤🖤🖤

Mauritius is absolutely 💯 a forever home you will love for your family. You have everything here you will look for if you are looking to settle down. Mauritius also has excellent offers for foreigners. You must liaise with the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority for more information. You will enjoy sunny beaches all year round. Welcome
