I like your honest reviews, base on your experience Josh. The Manufacturers seem to over exaggerate the distance between comms. Not all distance is a perfect straight line. DMC gets messy when everyone wants to talk. Long solo ride is where my music is best. 👍😁

Yeah line of sight is all well and good but none of these go very far in the bush aye 😅😭 But still, marginally better than 2 cans and a bit of string BD. I will have to have another go at the music thing on the bike.... good luck with the draw mate it's now a 1 in 3 chance pretty good! 😅

Thanks Josh, I’ve just tested my new V6 after chatting with you and also find that I couldn’t hear my passenger after around 50kms/ hr on the road. Not sure if my volume was at max, but they will be ok in the bush which is what I purchased them for. I’ll try a new quieter helmet soon. 🏍🎥👌

Hi, how do you find any wind noise through the Mike when not talking? Thanks
@MVDBR Жыл бұрын
Pretty good actually but it really depends on your helmet and mic location. If the other person has a very loud exhaust, sometimes it picks that up as well which can be annoying.

Sena 'Open Mesh'... connection protocol is waay better than bluetooth. No pairing. Couple guys on ADV bikes were coming the other way on bikes. We connected on the fly in a fraction of a second, said hi... and then they were gone. Only downside is about 6 hr battery life. Need to re-charge them at lunch with another battery. IMHO: Try 'em.
@MVDBR2 жыл бұрын
What's the range like between 2 units though? Like 200m line of sight? 😭
@yowser87802 жыл бұрын
@@MVDBR Ran Bluetooth for a few year before. Got the open mesh stuff about 8 months ago. Have been on lots of rides with them... seems like the 'connectivity distance' is about the same as Bluetooth. If you go round a corner and end up with a mountain in between the riders they drop... but then come right back up when the line of sight is clear. Really no issues on the rides with chopped or broken conversations. Turn them on... push the open mesh button... and ride.
