Flyash was burden for GOVT as well as pvt power plants to dispose and refuse due to its hazardous properties and health risk. After many years the succeeded for using as building material as the power plants agreed for bribe to govt for making such laws and putting flyash brick factory in PMEGP scheme. All this propaganda was to dispose flyash by making profit in parallel. Nowadays flyash is heavily charged per tonne. Speaking for its constructional use, the weight of flyash bricks is 20-25% more due to its density which increases the dead load of multi storey buildings resulting in heavy column beam and reinforcement. Also flyash bricks has less water absorption which results in plaster cracks which is common to see practically in 5yr old buildings. Due to density, flyash bricks are conductive to heat so the building needs more electricity and water demand to cool off in summer season. Many more disadvantages are row of flyash bricks. By the way, due to its cheaper cost its demand is increasing in colony developer to make home and selloff so I am establishing a flyash bricks unit.

Bro use red brick , those structure can last many years compared to fly ash ones , their benefits like temprature etc are only 5 percent more , but structural strength of red bricks is much more , red brick structure is more expensive but lasts longer with good quality cement.

Fly ash brick or clay burned brick no difference now a days. Cement available in market mostly fly ash based PPC which have a content of 50 percent flyash. Use flyash brick and conduct plastering with OPC cement. OPC cement is more costly than other cement variants but best.
