So I have an idea for one of GTA challenges. The one thing that Gray has been able to trust are checkpoints. I want that trust broken. Fake checkpoints, that do nothing. Teleporter checkpoints, that bring him back to the beginning. Evil checkpoints, that ruin the run by spawning at an uncontinueable place. One time checkpoint, that teleports back, forces to repeat the course, but is gone the second time around. Lastly, maybe invisible checkpoints, just to give him a break when he least expects it. I want him to question every single checkpoint for the rest of his life.

If I was Alex and co, I'd booby trap 'cheat' areas and the booby traps would have a bit of a delay to lure Grey into a sense of victory. Like, you can drive around the edge, but it triggers an instant fail state just ahead. Or like, you can jump around a section, but doing triggers an invisible dead end tube to spawn around the section. Or like, you can parkour along wall ride sections (as Grey has tried several times), but that surface is surrounded by invisible walls that let you go almost to the end/checkpoint... but it's a total dead end with a invisible blocker. So you could cheat and think you're outsmarting the gang, but really, you're just wasting time.

What if y'all did GTA Survivor? 👁👄👁 a bunch of challenges with a set amount of cars. At the end of every challenge, you pick a car to remove forever. If you pick wrong, you have to run it back from the *beginning* until you have one master car left. Multiple cars could beat multiple challenges, but only one would be able to do the final level.

8:45 - I don't know how fire works in GTA, but I've played other games where fire (and certain weapons) add 'heat' and when you heat exceeds a certain level you catch on fire. Each item cools at different rates and can withstand different heat before igniting. If GTA has something similar it would explain why you have trouble predicting the ignition point/location. I'm surprised Alex didn't include a fire truck.

They didn't put proper lava into GTA V so I guess Alex just gave the water a lava texture and programmed it to set you on fire. You can still clearly see that it's just weird water, but the effects are legit enough. Not a bad solution. Also, I am slightly colorblind ("redblind", but I actually can see red, I just don't see it as clearly as other people), so sometimes the lava in the video looks neon toxic-waste green to me. Most of the time I see it as red and yellow though.
