Heres what i think Head splitter: The best for obvious reasons, hard to tell when the counter is up due it looking like the block animation and is a insta kill and counters all counterable moves Manji kick: Get in move vs ranged, helps combo start sometimes all around the second best but it's easy to tell when someone uses it and counters all counterable moves Hakari's R: Dosen't combo start really easy to tell when someone counters and also gets screwed over by ranged skills at a some point but it is a get off me move and a R so that helps it... i guess Supernova counter: Dosen't counter range... Thats why it's the worst someone just uses range the counter isn't going to help .-.

Adaptation (Prevents the first hits damage, but any other hit still counts) 5. Hakari’s Counter (Counters close-close mid range attacks, lot of ranged are just glorified block) 6. Me personally, yujis is the best. Mahitos is just annoying bc it uses the block animation so you can’t tell the difference unless you wait 2 seconds, which at that point you’re already dead. (XEvent_rr - - - custom death sounds)

Yuji’s and Mahito’s counters have the same properties being able to use it against physical attacks and some ranged moves to a degree. Hakari’s counter can go up against and physical attack, but differs when it comes to ranged attacks as the attack goes past them. Choso’s counter only works against physical attacks. 1. Manji Kick 2. Hakaris Counter 3. Head Splitter 4. Supernova (Counter) Manji is the best in my opinion because it ca counter projectiles and melee attacks, it's also very reliable. Hakaris R is 2nd because it's pretty much manji kick but doesn't hit the opponent on projectiles. Head Splitter is 3rd because it requires super awakening and it has a long cooldown. Supernova is last because it doesn't counter projectile and also because i'd rather use the blood orb version. TylHugo, Ultimate battlegrounds early access

In my honest opinion, Choso's counter is 2nd best. Fast cooldown, and can counter all melee moves. Frankly you don't have to even worry about ranged ones that you can't counter, its either you block those or dodge them. And with an enemy's ult, even when not using Choso, your still gonna have a tough time or just plain dead. (JoggerLop early access JJS)

Mahito's Head Splitter counter is basically a better Manji Kick because it one shots if there isnt anyone else in the way, and if there is 3 people in the way it wont one-shot but still does a LOT of damage. (katasandiee - Legends Battlegrounds - PS+ ) ( i know this isnt JJS but please, if i win, i really want this gamepass)

@TaruneExclusiveCat it's fine, although this let's me talk about how mahoraga only having like an extra 50 HP is pretty bad, like this is MAHORAGA, and he's only 50% tankier than others? He already had a weakness in how he needs to hit people to day alive, having barely any more health that other characters just dooms him because every ult(excluding megumi) dominates him due to high damage, s which mean mahoraga can't hit them, or have amazing moves for stalling out the mahoraga timer(mahito has spike wrath to both run away AND stall, force grab to stall aswell), this isn't saying mahoraga is weak but he just doesn't feel strong enough to me

Even though choso's counter can't counter range,i still personal believe it's the best counter besides mahitos ofc. The thing about choso is that good players know how to counter his moveset and so it's hard to build up blood orbs as you can't get enough damage. So I think the counter serves as a good way to start getting in damage because it gives you orbs. Theoretically you could also start a combo with it with your second skill so that's why i think it's probally the best counter but what am I to say i only 200 kills ARandomBritishCat, pls give early access ty is you do ❤
