Idk, with wanting the Springs to be included in our name when being discussed, i think its down to the fact that this is ALL we got here: Denver has multiple teams across multiple sports, and Colorado Springs only has our Switchbacks to represent us, so thats probably why its better to refer to it as the Springs as opposed to just Colorado.
