Which Coffee Machine Should A Beginner Buy? | Bean To Cup VS Espresso Machine

I'm a user of both machines. Like you said, when you have guests, there is no better way than a bean-to-cup machine. Most people prefer flat whites and aren't so picky about espresso quality. On the other hand, an espresso machine is a must for enthusiasts and it can drain your wallet pretty bad :)

The bean to cup machine in this video is currently defective, I found it would be unfair to make a drink on the espresso machine without having the comparison. However it being defective helped highlight the 'service life' topic. Thank you for feedback, it helps me become a become a better creator 😁

Your opinion isn't subjective. It is true that espresso machine makes better coffee. In Italy, you can never find a bean to cup machine anywhere - in fact I only started seeing them once I went out of Italy and into places like the UK. Go figure... :)

I definently would choose an Espresso machine over a bean to cup, there are some really good bean to cup machines out there, however they're usually designed for cafés, so maybe I should investigate finding the best home bean to cup machine 🙂 thank you for your comment :)

@@DrEspresso I've since settled in purchasing a mid-tier espresso machine with a dedicated mid-tier consumer grinder. (was tempted to go prosumer grinder but didn't see why I should, especially I'm not running a biz with it). p.s. local restaurants where I am have industrial bean to cup machines - coffees coming out of them are very nice, but they can never touch those made with industrial espresso machines as served in local chain and indie caffè, so you might not find your golden egg after all at the end of your journey (just as heads up)

I think because you've had a Nespresso machine, you had the push button, bean to cup style coffee workflow so it could be a great opportunity to try an espresso machine, something new and different 🙂
