what's interesting about julian is that even with 2 def item and 3 magic item he still deals devastating dmg. His 3 enhanced skills help him adapt to any situation (not "every" situation tho) pair that up with his enhanced attacks and low cd for another combo, with the hp growth being slightly high. Has immunity, ranged dmg, and cc. the thing that makes him balanced is his skills being easy to dodge once you see the area though.

After 2000 games with Julian I would recommend as follows: 2-3-1: Instand kill (Fighter and Tank): you can even kill multiple opponents if Skill 3 hits multiple opponents. 2-1-3: Best for hunting (mm and mage), because of long distance range (+finish them with enhanced Basic Attack) 1-3-2: I use it for 3 purposes: --> Offensive counter-attack: quick and, above all, safe approach to the opponent especially against MM & Mage. Finish them with enhanced Basic attack. I often use this combo when i get hunted by mm or mage. They don't have time to react. They just die if this combo hits. --> Multiple Opponents: but only during late game, because high level and items required (+ finish them all with enchanced Basic Attack, ) --> Defensive ( just escaping dangerous situations) For Group Fights and 1:1 Fights, I use all three combos, depending on situation and opponent hero. Therefore all three combos are required. I personally like the 1-3-2 most because it is unpredictable for the opponent and can be used flexibly in combat. Hope this summary helps you.

Possible Counters for Juan: Constant CC as always Heroes and Items that has damage reduction (Tanks can buy Radiant while other role can buy Athenas) Skills that deals burst and also quick to cast so it doesn't get cancelled by Juan's pull passive CC Immune

@@ChenLiYong because tanks need sustain, squishy heroes needs to survive. In simple words, 1. Tanks won't die by 1 Julians combo but will lose way more hp as compared to one with Radiant armor, you'll take less damage as a tank because Radiant armor passive needs some time to stack. in case of squishy heroes, they'll die in 1 combo even if you have Radiant armor because you'll take all the dmg even before Radiant armor could stack...so how athena shield helps better? because it gives more hp, more magic defense and instantly reduces magic damage taken for 5 secs allowing you to survive the combo and escape the fight.

I like to use third combo because it deals highest damage while you don't have to get close to enemy. You can get ice queen wand for extra slow effects, and they are as good as immobolized. If you can master third combo, it's fastest way to kill enemy(I don't say it's most useful, but has highest damage which helps to kill faster) They're some heroes which it's very hard to get close to them, in those situations, third combo is almost best to use(but you can use any combo as long as you can land them on enemies)

Im a hardcore Julian main that never used any combo besides the 3rd. The 3rd is the best in my opinion simply because it melts the enemy. Especially if you lock him down with 3rd skill before hand. The first skill even has a slow debuff so the enemy really cant run far without wasting their flash. Even Julian m1's has a pull effect so that the enemy cant run.

2:52 i'll have to say that this combo deals the most damage due to the enhanced scythe's OP base damage and the continuous damage, it's hard to do the combo because once you miss the Ult the enhanced scythe can't really do it's full damage 3:23 And i wouldn't recommend doing this, use the 1-2-3 combo for hit and run, this combo is for killing ( mainly )

For me personally, I think the enhanced spinning blades have the best synergy when paired with inspire. Aside from the blades' slow effect, inspire will make sure you can attack fast enough to minimize their chances of escaping it, especially when they used their mobility skills

Used Julian exclusivly last season My gameplay is only 2. - Enhanced S1 is for poking and jungling (2-3-1) - Enhanced S3 is for Teamfight war, ganking or escaping (2-1-3) or pre-emptively throw (1) before teamfight then before CD off go (2-3) for instant AoE CC I almost never used enhanced S2, because usually normal S2 is always used to initiate Enhanced S1 and S3 first. Also the last update heavily nerfed the damage, so its much better to clear minion wave with Enhanced S3. Use normal S2 dash to move around map faster.
