Papua New Guinea is a Malrial, large South Pacific island (with rainforest) that's half independent and half Indonesian. The place is literally festering with insects, tropical disease, poisonous/non-poisonous reptiles, man-eating birds, and painted head-hunting types in its jungle areas. Located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, PNG is susceptible to volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, cyclones and almost any other natural diasater you can name. As its interior is still largely unexplored due to the extremity of its geography, you may well find yourself in a 'Land that Time Forgot' scenario should you venture too far off the beaten track.

This is precisely why the West Papua region has had ethnic violence, because the Indonesians and West Papuans are culturally and ethnically different.

The capital on the independent side is Port Moresby - a city ringed with squatters dwellings and rife with marauding 'Raskols'(bandits) who spend their time chewing betel-nut (an adrenal stimulator that turns your spit to red foam) and carjacking SUVs. Port Moresby has a higher crime rate than the Radford area of Nottingham (or even the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny), if you listen to the scare stories. It's actually not too bad if you use your common sense. Just don't go out at night without an armed guard who isn't going to run away. I went to Papua New Guinea once and was kidnapped for my shoes.

No idea about the Uganda ones, must have watched something online for them to say that but you must know we are not dense, we know what has been happening to our brothers in west papua but what can a nation like ours do to indonesia who has more military and economic powers than us. PNG also does trades with Indonesia so it's not as simple to critisie them but as for why they are hating the Russians, I can tell you that it's all thanks to the media. Every country can be dangerous mate, not just PNG’s capital city. I have lived there for a long time and it’s not like everyday petty crimes occur often; it’s only when PNG goes through an economic crisis that the lower class families or individuals resort to such crime. Try actually meeting the citizens there than stating such information. Petty crimes, violence in any form, etc happens everywhere around the world.

Raise our voices to stand against injustice towards our own people. As an Acehnese, I have very mixed feelings with how the general population have only started to care about our people (Indonesia as a whole) with the Rohingya refugee crisis. Papua New Guinea is a Malrial, large South Pacific island (with rainforest) that's half independent and half Indonesian. The place is literally festering with insects, tropical disease, poisonous/non-poisonous reptiles, man-eating birds, and painted head-hunting types in its jungle areas. Located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, PNG is susceptible to volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, cyclones and almost any other natural diasater you can name. As its interior is still largely unexplored due to the extremity of its geography, you may well find yourself in a 'Land that Time Forgot' scenario should you venture too far off the beaten track. The capital on the independent side is Port Moresby - a city ringed with squatters dwellings and rife with marauding 'Raskols'(bandits) who spend their time chewing betel-nut (an adrenal stimulator that turns your spit to red foam) and carjacking SUVs. Port Moresby has a higher crime rate than the Radford area of Nottingham (or even the Staropromyslovsky district of Grozny), if you listen to the scare stories. It's actually not too bad if you use your common sense. Just don't go out at night without an armed guard who isn't going to run away. I went to Papua New Guinea once and was kidnapped for my shoes.

Modi's visit is recent, these indians have already have numerous children with the locals. PNG is largely undeveloped due to political corruption - indians will change this by bringing a different attitude to the locals.
