the US has overstepped our boundaries in several foreign areas. that being said our response to the genocide of bosnians and albanians in the 90s was justified in the eyes of many (not all, especially due to the use of uranium bombs), and the people of kosovo are particularly thankful for the US’ effort to keep them independent from Serbia. it was a NATO effort, but the US was the driving force in the aid of kosovo due to its anti slav stance during the cold war. i believe there is a statue of bill clinton in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.

Mexico is culturally and ecologically incredibly diverse, so I'm sure you're not gonna have a hard time finding something that appeals to you :) Just keep in mind that the places I've listed are merely the ones I fancy the most and, in my opinion, some of the places that are definitely worth checking out lol.
