Nepal is one of the oldest countries in the world, with more than 3500 years of recorded history. Nepal has more than 124 languages. 2. Nepal has more than six civilizations that have developed across time with distinct features. 3. Nepal has extremely high religious tolerance/peaceful co-existence- we have Buddhist temple inside Hindu temples. Buddhism, Khasa Aryas, Sanatani Vedic dharma, Islam- coexisted historically with Christian missionary conversions of people later. 4. Nepal has fought wars with British- lost 2/3rd of its territory but not sovereignty. The defeat of British in Nepal inspired Thomas Paine in US to write against colonialism which became the cause of American Independence. 5. Most of the historical incidents claimed by Indians as a vital part of Vedic Sanatani Dharma occurred in around Nepal. King Janak's Mithila Kingdom lies in Nepal where sita was born, Rishi Yagnavalkya and Gargi were born in Nepal, Ram and Laxman came to the gurukul in Nepal where they learnt Dhanurvidhya, Buddha was born in Nepal, propounder of Nyaya Philosophy Akshapada Gotama was born in Nepal, and so on. (I could write a whole book on facts about Nepal) After watching this video, I feel like Pakistani and Nepali people share really good bonding- let's be best friends forever!!
