There's definitely some good ones! I loved sinh, fume knight and the smelter demon, but most of the rest of the game varies from meh to frustrating

DS2 being my favorite game in the franchise (played 2, 3 and elden ring). I'd take the ganks in Iron keep and general jankiness of ds2 ANY DAY compared to the absolute braindead platforming in elden ring, or the bosses with delayed attacks made specifically to spite me. 3 had this weird input delay which made it unplayable for me.

Based DS2 perspective. I almost typed opinion but it is a factual statement that DS2 is Worst Souls.

Also DS2 was my first as well. Played it in late middle school/early high school and man was it a bad first impression to the Souls games. So much missed potential due to outright bad game design. Awful Souls game and mediocre game overall.
