I’ve never gotten him to jump to the ledge because he won’t jump and just keeps his distance and does the fire attack

@@unnameduser5647 Nah it still works if you run back to the corpse and wait for him to rip his arm off. He only does that when you're there, and if he doesn't, he won't jump and will spam the fire attack.

I love how you very smoothly didn't mention Dark souls 2 at the beginning. But honnestly, I find it to be as hard as the other but in his own way, through hard areas rather than hard bosses, it still has some tough bosses though

I think the only aspect in which it is more difficult than ER is the inputlag on dodges. sure it just means that it has a slower gameplay but I think Elden Ring feels more fun and fair in this regard

The difficulty of dark souls 2 feels artificial. Imo it is mainly hard for a few reasons: 1. Enemy spam 2. The whole adaptability thing 3. No s during boss fogs, making run throughs not an option

I always found Gwyn to be the toughest boss in DS1 if you don't parry him. Underrated boss, aside from that awful run back.

So i started a SL1 run a little bit back to do some testing before committing to a stream and I'm curious why it seems no one uses sorcery. It's not much but the pyromancer has just enough to cast a basic soul arrow which is thirty casts and you can buy to copies rather quickly. So for fights like Quelagg why not make use of that for some extra long range chip damage while she does her explosion.

Even DS2 is easy with a well thought out build. I beat the whole game with early game equipment (Drangleic armour + battleaxe) and I only really struggled when I went into Company Of Champions for Earthen Peak

Yeah, I see the “safe area” in a fair amount of challenge runs, but I prefer staying at the fog gate, at least before I get the lava ring, then it’s straight to the boss

To me Centipede Demon and Manus were the hardest, the rest was pretty much first try.

I played it blind for the most part. I didn't even ascend my pyromancy flame until the artorias fight actually. I could've done way better, but by the time I realized that I already was mostly done with the game

I usually 1 to 2 shot small/minor enemies in my playthroughs 🤔 I use relatively slow weapons like great scythe, Zwei, claymore and stuff, but still, I never felt the game had spongy ennemies, except some bosses and big mobs, but there I feel like it's justified. Do you upgrade your gear ? Maybe you just aren't using good weapons ? Idk
