Which Deck Do I Take?!

Thumb pits 😂😂😂 This was so fun to watch! I always struggle trying to figure out which deck(s) to travel with too. If you're looking for votes, I'd say Santa Muerte! It seemed to fill more needs than not, AND if you are looking to build a travel relationship with a deck, what better than one you have struggle cards with? If you are kinda forced to work with it for an extended time, you'll have more time to sit with those cards and develop your own meanings for them. Then later on when you work with the deck, and they come up, you'll be reminded of your trip as well.

Given these choices, I'd go with Santa Muerte. The deck that I carry with me is the Centennial RWS in a tin. It's small, it's in a tin, I don't need a guidebook for it, it's sort of independent of a particular season or geography, and it's not irreplaceable if something happens to it.

Practicality, no book necessary, perfect purse size, simple reader = everyday witch.

@@Learntarott I have the standard size, it surprised me at how simple it was to read, my only problem is I already have it. So cannot justify a mini version. I usually take the mini Halloween in a tin for travel purposes.

I say Outgrow Yourself and/or Wild Unknown has warm weather weather Tucson Vibes - Tucson carries such vibrant vibes and both of these decks have it...but it would depend on what deck is waiting for you in Tucson. I have taken the Gentle Tarot to Tucson since there's so much landscape to discover (but that was in November, Tucson is much cooler and greener at that time). Something to keep in mind is that Tucson so many cool Metaphysical shops that carry Tarot & Oracle decks - I always try and buy a deck when I visit somewhere.

That was something I was considering as well - I’m going to try to check out that Libra and Thorn place you mentioned so I may end up purchasing a deck or two there. I have two deck waiting for me in Tucson now lol. But I wouldn’t say they are ones I would be dying to use while I’m there.

With that 7 of Swords card in the Santa Muerte deck, you could read it like he cheated death. 🤔 But yeah, that's the perfect deck to bring!

I just bought the sasuraibito mini edition exactly for travel use. I also have a rider waite mini pocket size which is very good.

So curious what deck will be at your sister's when you arrive! And my vote is to take Outgrow Yourself! 😊 Have fun! Also,. I'm absolutely copying this idea because I'm going out of town as well and just started wondering what deck(s) I should take!
