9:25 Actually you'd be better off with the wedding ritual over the fight pit for the loop cause you get the option to kiss your spouse which adds a little loyalty and can often get them that little extra needed to level up.

If you are going for the infinite loop choose the non right option, otherwise just choose grass Eater, it’s very useful as you’ll get a lot of grass

I've played this game threw three times and I always go down the darkest possible route. Murder, cannibalism, and generally anything cruel or nasty. I think this game might be my favorite game ever 😂😈

I went with Ritual of Enrichment…maybe it was recently buffed or something but I run my Cult around 24-28 members usually and if I do that I’ll get a solid 1200+ gold each time. For some reason my followers ask me to do that a lot as follower quests as well

From what i could see, taking belief in afterlife literally creates an afterlife for your followers Hear me out, ascending follower without the belief in afterlife kills your follower offscreen and the aura is red Buf if you took it earlier, ascend follower changes drastically. White aura and no corpse and ressurecting followers instead make them fall from the sky

That’s a pretty cool detail. I’m guessing it wouldn’t be good for a cannibal cult though. I wonder if belief in sacrifice changes the animation as well, maybe that’s the animation with the lovecraft tentacles that pull them down.

In order I think go for law 1, then do afterlife 1&2, then likely sustenance 1 and work 1. After that it’s all your preference

I feel like picking the murder follower doctrine is more beneficial if you also pick the good die young doctrine.

It has its merits. Like it’s incredibly useful but if you pick murder you don’t get the benefit of ascending followers, which can give all your cultists 50% loyalty meaning you can mass level up your followers quickly

@@kawaiicrossing5047 Elders aren't really an issue for me, also good die young doctrine works with ascending them as well, like I said it's a valid way to go I just prefer ascension as it benefits the whole cult more overall IMO

Ritual of the harvest grows your crops to maturity. I have it unlocked and it’s really handy to have.

Oh it’s definitely handy, I just prefer oceans bounty since you can sell rare fish in the chest for 20 gold coins and helps complete the fishing quest for talisman pieces if you are struggling catching the rare fish. That being said the dlc let’s you have all rituals and now I’m using harvest every once and a while

@@superneles Didn't know if anyone mentioned it, but if you have harvest totem 2 and stack it with the harvest tarot card and ritual you'll get extra crops and devotion.

I did the ritual of enrichment and if you have around 20 followers you can actually get 2000+ gold per ritual. So imma do that. Also I’d suggest you do it after you get your cult high on shrooms so you don’t loose faith (Edit) Whoops I meant 20!

The ritual is definitely better than when I originally made this video and scales well with a larger cult with higher level cultists. But I still wouldn’t pick it over the other option for a first playthrough.

i have a trick for the inspire one 1. Get all of your followers in one place 2 preform the inspire on one of them 3. now you have lots of faith and you just leveled up all your followers

Yeah the updates have made inspiring your followers much easier, originally though it was a manual 1:1 process, so I am glad they made the changes.

I just noticed that playing today, and noticed that. I love to inspire followers when they are building since they are likely to crowd up when building and that would immediately give me a bunch of faith and loyalty.

I been jumping around a bit. What do you do without fast ritual and wanting to go on long dungeon run and having faith go down when they get hungry

So if you want to avoid faith going down you can you the brainwashing ritual since it locks their faith for 2 days. I know I said to take the Prohibitionism doctrine but you could take the belief in psychedelics Instead and use brainwashing to forget about yo ur cult more often

You can create extra food. The food stays there for them to eat I beleive

12:00 when i don this ritual, i get at least 300 gold, i don't know what your cult is on but mine gives a lot. I rellied on this for the majority of my playthrought because first that's a lot of gold and second the drawback is not so high.

Pretty sure it’s been adjusted since launch. It’s great for making money but I also didn’t ever struggle with getting money until the very late game. Also with the latest update you don’t have to pick anymore as you’ll eventually get all the rituals

Idk if you will take this feed back but it would be nice to have on one screen all the choices you made so I can screen shot it and look at it when I'm playing not having to go back to your video but it will be nice having people save and re-watch your video for more views. but in all great video.

I appreciate the feedback, I definitely could have done it and forgot to when I was gathering clips. But with the latest update I plan on doing another cider revisiting doctrines since technicially this video is out of date, you can get all doctrines now once you beat the game

Belief in afterlife is actually better than sacrifice :/ You can have multiple elderly followers of the same age but ritual would be on cooldown preventing you to sacrifice all in time. So you could have 1 +20 but 3 -20 on faith in the end

Thanks for your input, but I disagree, the loop I mention makes it pretty easy to stay pm top of your followers life expectancy, and keep in mind that the loss in faith is temporary, but the benefits of sacrificing are permanent

Now, with Forgotten Doctrines existing, this would just only apply to the main game if you manage to max out all of the doctrines by the time you beat the game -- because now, in the post game, you can have EVERY single ritual, action, trait, etc.. Just letting people know this.

Spent 7 hours playing this and everything was going well and suddenly i found myself stuck without being able to gather enough lumber, a ton of people got sick all of a sudden and everyone lost faith and i had to start over. Major bummer, because I was having fun up until then. I don't even feel like playing it any more tbh

tough loss I know, but it's almost always recoverable sometimes you just have to do a crusade and focus on gather resources from specific gathering floors/nodes and then do your best to keep them happy, maybe take a break for a bit and come back refreshed, losses like that do suck

@@superneles Nah. It's easier this way. Already on day 10 and everyone is still there. Almost there for resurrection. I'll do things right this time around and keep the veterans without using space needlessly with tons of graves and crypts. Plus, I barely had no more than 6 followers after every crusade. They become old and grow impatient really fast. :/

@@superneles i just literally buy the extra tarrots in every crusade and well... if you do run out at some point.. ritual is done quick and one bonfire makes it well again... havent even have loyalty problems except for that one time i looked at upgrades and had to go afk with me thinkimg the game was paused in the upgrade window

Feasting is the worst choice imo, if your hunger bar is green it’ll stay that way for 3 days. Easily letting you stockpile food Vs full hunter for 1 day

So there’s some background info to consider, the fast has a 10 day cooldown, meanwhile the feast only has 5 and gives faith so the reason I recommend it is it’s faster to re-use and can help when faith is low. Fast doesn’t impact faith at all but with the newest update you don’t gotta pick (eventually)

So you can. You have to beta the final boss and then you’ll get access to the relics of the old god content which gives you the ability to unlock the other rituals/tenants

How big is your cult and what’s the level of the cultists. I’m thinking it’s tied to those factors. But my cult was 20 or so strong and wasn’t giving me much gold. Unless it’s been patched to give more

valefar is MUCH harder than kallamar at the level you fight them at

I would disagree. Valefar has a fairly straight forward attack pattern. Kallamar has some wide and aggressive attacks. Took me many more attempts compared to valefar but I can understand your point.

The ritual of enrichment for me is the biggest money grab. I get anywhere from 500 to 900 gold each time I use it. 😂😂

Everyone has different experiences lol, to be fair I thought shamura was a joke and lots also thought shamura was difficult, also depends on your difficulty level your playing on, but glad you found them easy!
