WHICH DOZER is OLDER? BESSIE gets NEW TRACKS! | RC ADVENTURES

I have had a lot of comments about my "Second Dozer", from our #Canadian show called #KZbinGOLD Mostly, which one - is which?! As in.. which one is older? This is a question I will answer in detail in the film, but the keeners that watch KZbin GOLD already know.. I'm certain! There is a clue in the thumbnail.. that gives it away. Regardless, now you have your answer!
Also, I have a new set of tracks I would like to chat about. Many viewers saw the episode where I blew the track off of one of the dozers - and we had to replace it. Viewers were quick to point out a rising star in the RC Heavy Duty World of fabrication from #Australia!

How much does your excavator weigh? I think it'd be cool for you to do a sort of "pipeliner-like" setup by daisy-chaining the two dozers on top of a steep hill, and having the rear one winch the excavator down the slope to dig

Would have gotten them powder-coated with a few raw links to look patched in. Could have done some quick weathering on the fresh yellow and let the patch-links weather naturally.

Loved it! I really like that the tracks have the holes in them to help push trapped material out of them and that the new tracks are slightly wider. Now you need a powder coated set for the "new" dozer!

With these new caterpillars I think everything will be much better and in addition it is a great idea to have taken without paint, when they will be rusted, the bulldozer will have a great look !! Very good job aging is very successful !! and looking forward to seeing these two bulldozers at work in the next episode of youtube gold !!

Your tracks may be too long, possibly the reason the new ones were shorter it seems like the tensioner is doing almost nothing. May also be the reason for the broken track issue from before

Actually.. it was the other one that broke.. but you are correct.. the link was in addition to the idler wheel tension. It has since been adjusted

If you can bend the head of the tool without it braking, It will give yourself some angle for the tool face to line up with the pin just like a box end wrench "kink" for clearance. Love the videos, And definitely like the longer episodes of KZbin Gold!!!!

Actually , the track tensioners , are piston driven , the way you adjust the tracks on most dozers ..is with a grease gun .. the do have springs but it's mostly for shock absorbtion ..so the tracks can loosen when rocks try to go threw the bogies and cogs .. it's best to leave some slack to allow rocks room to squeeze between the bogies and the tracks so it doesn't bend pins and break the links

I can see how amazing that tool is except when it comes to tricky locations like the one you had, I think you need another one then bend the tool so it fits it to tighter areas on your machines. While your at it get me one as well, just kidding I get my own one day. another awesome video

The two pin method you showed is how we used to do it on the real world scorpion scimitar cvrt you have from spiker if we had no drift pin to hand.

I prefer the raw tracks for the newer conditioned one because the powder coated ones are what are usually on 1/1 scale cat dozes when they are brand new

Raw tracks seems less wasteful most of the powder coating will eventually be worn away
