I'm currently on a massive GAS hunt for flat black one! The white one looks and seems spectacular too, but honestly I just can't bring myself to pay a price so close to the USA model for a MIM one. I'm sure it's a beast too, but in the event I have to mind resale value the USA will definitely keep more of its value.

Hey man! Thanks for the video. I'm getting the V4 but not until August as it's a gift for my 30th bday!! On looks I like the black but it's around £300 more. To be honest, my most expensive guitar is cost around £500 so I can't begin to imagine the difference in getting my hands on this beauty! Great video man.

Hey! You can’t go wrong with either one! Overall they are both great. I do like the feel of the black one more playing wise but aesthetically I prefer the look of the v4 haha. But all these things are subject to personal taste

Had his jazzmaster usa signature a while ago, it was insane.. brutal, mean! the wood was high quality, those emgs sounded fat, trebly and big. It was a beast, i guess the new one is close to his old jazzmaster. If i had to choose one, i pick the usa signature for the right price, of course. Plus has a compound radius but the new one looks pretty solid. Though, the old one looks like it's better built, you can notice it.

I plan on grabbing a white Jazzmaster and selling off the neck. Then finding a black USA Jazzmaster neck for it. Then changing the pickups to EMG 57/66

Dude I gotta question i own the jim's fender tele thinking of getting another model any opinion which model should i get next strat, usa jmaster or the V4?
@batzz31774 жыл бұрын
Hey! Well the Strat and USA jazzmaster are basically the same specs. Both EMG 81 60. Both American made. So either one wouldn’t go wrong. Depends which shape You prefer. The jazzmaster is a bit bigger and heavier but personally it’s easier to get in the lower frets on the jazzmaster coz of the shape. As for the v4 it’s mexican made and has a diff neck profile, fancy binding n block inlays etc but the biggest thing is it has Jim’s new signature pickups. Comes down to what u want and I can’t tell you what you want haha, only you know. But if you ask me, personally for me my fav to play right now is the USA jazzmaster. Love the neck and the comfort of the body shape But I do prefer how the jim signature pickups sound so I might swap the 81 60 in favour for a set of daemonums soon

Could be a different species of mahogany or might be just that no piece of wood will be the same. Even from the same tree, the grains could be different in each cut. Speaking to the weight difference.

So you say if I plan on switching the PUs anyways to the sig EMGs I should get the more expensive black one & spent 200 on the PUs? That doesn‘t make any sense LOL. In fact this whole video doesn‘t make any sense. You only say it‘s preference LOL.
@batzz31773 жыл бұрын
No sir, I meant if you’re gonna buy either one of these 2 guitars and change the pickups out to something else maybe other EMGs or other brand pickups. That comment wasn’t about the daemonums. You probably didn’t watch the whole thing or maybe you misunderstood my words if that’s your comment because I literally talked about the pricing and about how I prefer the white jazzmaster because it already came stock with the daemons and u don’t have to spend the extra money to change the pickups on the blacks to the daemons. Also It’s not supposed to Make sense. It’s all personal preference. It’s not a video telling you what you should or shouldn’t do. It’s just what I feel. Some people like to hear what others think before making a decision. So I just did a video to tell people what I feel :) you don’t have to agree or like what I say. Have a good day and Cheers!

AS IF you: #1 Need a reason to collect and doodle on guitars and; #2 Owe some unhinged KZbinr an explaination 🤣 Great video this is helping me decide which way to go. As a side note: I couldn't care what anyone else says but looks matter. A guitars looks is as important as how it sounds. They're machines for inspiration. If this was not the case they would be one shape and colour. If a $200 crappy guitar with flame and devil horns makes a kid pick it up, play his heart out 24/7 and play 100s of shows with his buddies as opposed to a $9,000 dollar acoustic thats never picked up by some middle aged, middle earth, divorced basement dweller that owns it because some virgin on gearsluts opined its the best... Guess which is the better guitar! Subjective beauty and the inspiration it instills is just as important as the $,000s of nuances that generally only middle aged divorced basement weenies 'notice' anyway. In any event... Great videos my man. Thank you! Never mind the haters 😛
