thank you for the clarification...I also found that the shorter fuselage (AXIS 52cm Psycho) is more pitch sensitive without a larger tail when gliding over 10-12kts (1401Pro with Skinny 35)

Thanks for posting this was on my mind recently. Correct me if im wrong im still new to this, but to summarize; the longest fuselage is the easiest to start, while the smallest is the most agile and easiest to recover, but you prefer the medium one because the smallest one has too high of a cadence, meaning its kinda annoying to keep going up and down within a small amount of time? But now my question is, when going for the longest distance you can would the medium or longest fuselage be the best? Also the last shot of exiting the marina into the waves was awesome.

nice point! yes you understood correctly. for the longest possible distance i'd still go for the medium simply because i'm more comfortable with that one!

Yes Ketos is producing carbon fibre fuselages, but gaining 2-300 grams in weight is not worth the 'risk'. if you're only gonna use small fast foils, you should go for it. If you don't see it on the website, try and send an email

Good video. thanks. OPINION: I've tried different length fuse for dock starting and I've tried them in various situations. I realize you CAN NOT SPEAK to every situation, nor can I. In my opinion: Shorter fuses (even the axis 58cm "crazy short") are a pain in the ass/not worth it if you just want to; get some exercise in, have fun, catch super small waves, or boat wakes. The water, the current, the wind, the wetsuit, is always changing and a longer fuselage (I like what you consider long 63-70cm) helps you stay up with less effort ON foil. Yes, your turns will be wider but you can change that circumference by using a smaller front foil and the stab (if you like sprinting down a wooden dock) or planning ahead while in motion. I had the sabfoil ❤ 1150 and the 1350 (way too big for any sort of waves) and just sold them because I outgrew their speed. Sadly sab did the 1360 next which is for pros only. I'm about to try the NEW @takoon 1700 AR 10.45. I'm 80kg+/-. THOUGHTS? AND THANK YOU

thanks! you're right actually. for more playfulness you can also downsize your front wing! testing these days ketos karve 1250 with my longest fuselage and it's lovely to carve. video soon. never tried the takoon, maybe i'll be able to in a near future
