So the other day you had a St Patrick's day challenge, LOJO, and I was intrigued by the rod. I do a lot of panfishing, and some bass fishing, and I just liked the look of it. Fast forward to me finding it in a secret listing on the wally world dot com for like $7 and ordering it. Picked it up today, stopped by the pond just to try it out with my new Pflueger President and ended up with a 2lb 6oz crappie. Sucker was a chonk, and my neighbor's going to have it for dinner tonight (he gave me a fish a while back while I was grilling, returning the favor). I wouldn't have known about the rod if not for this video, I highly recommend it as a budget choice for pan fishing. Actually pretty darned nice.

I think it would be awesome id you compared the the best fishing reel from three or four brands, not necessarily the most expensive reels but the one you think is best for that brand. You could even do a comparison between several brands cheapest and most expensive reals.
