Wow, this is really detailed and well edited. Also, it brings back a whole lot of memories. I think a few years from now the VGA/DVI ports will look completely bizarre, antiquated and foreign to everyone so it's good that you captured that experience on camera. Well done!

Thank you! And yeah, will probably come close to what you see now with keyboards when people show "old" PS/2 Keyboards, while you got to use an adapter for your AT Board because PS/2 is actually too new for that :D

My job (a large hospital) still has a ton of monitors that only take VGA or DVI. Even after replacing about 500 monitors this past year with DP models, we still have tons of them out there. It will be a while before we kill VGA in the enterprise space. I'd be surprised if many people still use it at home, however.

two 3dfx voodoo1 to isa bus graphics cards are connected via sli cable to one geforce 2 ultra to pci bus or to one 3dfx voodoo2 to pci bus compatibility is a matter of motherboard and drivers but the type of graphics cards connected via sli cable is voluntary for example four 3dfx voodoo1 to isa8 bus graphics cards connected via sli cable

I think what you call SLI cable is just the passthrough cable (which is optional). But now I get what you mean. Interesting setup for sure!

geforce 256 and nvidia quadro1 are similar graphics cards if the manufacturer does not give a sli plug for geforce 256 then they give a sli plug for nvidia quadro1

Hrm, but SLI was actually used by 3dfx and only then later used by NVidia after they bought 3dfx. But the first quadro was actually release before SLI was a thing for NVidia.

2 V1 and 1 V1 and one GF2? Not sure how you would "SLI" the V2 to the GF2. How do you tell DOS which graphics card to use?
