The iPhone can't get even compete in customization; you have to jump through so many hoops and download sketchy apps with subscriptions. Samsungs ability to customize is pretty much installed on your phone already when you first turn it on

Competition has made both phones so much more similar then ever, who would of thought your iPhone would ever have widgets and AOD, and Galaxy phones would ever have better battery and cameras than iPhones??? I honestly didn't think these things would change.

Except Galaxy DOESN’T have better cameras than iPhone, none of them do, at least not consistently. iPhone wins every time for simple point and shoot perfection. Introduce motion to any Android camera and you get a blurry pic but not with iPhone.

One thing i realised about customisation after getting my S23 ultra is i went crazy changing things up for the first couple of months and then forgot about it 😂 it is a nice fun thing to have but i don't know if this is a deal breaker for most people. S23 ultra is serving me very well though.

Tbh I have a Galaxy Tab and customized the hell out of it with the built in settings and Good Lock, with a modified grid and a couple widget stacks, and the Home Screen is now laggy as fuck. Especially when exiting an app, the animation is so choppy. Samsung is the king of Android customization but it does come at a cost if you want to truly take advantage of it.

Apple started on this, but this fight was not remotely fair. Samsung kills in customization (and regain specific terrain very quickly). You kinda of covered all IOS options and barely scratched Samsung`s, there's so much more (each Good Lock module has lots of options, for example). I love your mood, so light and fun!

Ehhhh personally, I always had a problem having to run another app, even If back by Samsung, for my customization needs. I feel if features aren't there on purpose then to them, it wasn't a good enough feature to put it by default. But then that leaves the phone feeling like it's missing a lot. Nothing against Good Lock, I used it often enough when I was on Samsung. But I couldn't keep the "minimalistic" and "business-esque" thoughts outta my head when using Samsung As Is. It's probably the main reason I'm looking at a Pixel phone instead once I pay down my iPhone 14PM down a bit. A Lot more colorful and it feels more "free" if that makes sense.

Unless Apple opens up iOS more to third-party developers, they'll never compete when it comes to customization. Like basically all Android phones have more customization built-in, PLUS you can use third-party launchers and totally change the look and feel of your phone without needing to root/jailbreak.
