Buying Hermes in Boutique or department store like Harrods, much cheaper than second hand and no fakes. I do not believe the story of buying other goods first, then been offered bags. My SA (a Japanese) offered me bags, including Burkin and Constance, without asking any other buying. I only purchased several scarfs and ties before, less than $2000 dollars total. I was offered Burkin 30 (declined, I dislike bags without shoulder strap). Then she offered me Constance x3. I think that the story that Hermes wants customers to purchase other things first is a tale created by the second hand store owners/sellers.
