I have the 11 inch because I use it on the couch and I prefer the lightness and portability. But it is really difficult because sometimes more screen would be nice. So enjoy your 13 inch. Either size is great.

@@christophhazy8080 yeah you’re right tbh. Which ever size you go for will always be a great decision because they are both incredible devices.

I'm still deliberating between the 11" and 13", it was helpful to hear your use case and decision process. Thanks!

@@BillMcLean I feel your pain. It really is one of those annoyingly difficult decisions isn’t it. Hope you found something helpful from the video to be able to nudge more towards one or the other.

I had an iPad Air 4 and used it with the Magic Keyboard 90% of the time, so that has me leaning towards the 13”, however it is kind of giant coming from my current iPad mini. I’m torn and will probably go spend another 30 minutes in the Apple Store playing with both options.

I’ll take second seat. Thanks for your thoughts and use case on your decision making process. I am in that analysis paralysis on the 11” vs 13”. This will be my only device other than my iPhone, so the 13” is appealing. But then you pick up that small 11” inch package and it just feels so mobile. I have to keep reminding myself what my use case is and pull the trigger and make a decision 😂

I can really empathise with you on trying to make this decision. It shouldn’t be so difficult but it’s the fear of picking the wrong one and regretting it isn’t it 😂 Always taking your decision process back to your planned use cases should help clarify things. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Much appreciated 👍🏼

Having had both 11 and 13 inch if it’s your only other device definitely get a 13 inch with a Magic Keyboard. Might be worth looking at a clearance iPad M2 Pro 13 to keep cost down as the miniLED is still great.
@andydew5Ай бұрын
@@richarddcrossley this is a great idea. The refurbished section on the Apple website does offer some great prices on slightly older devices if cost is a big factor.

Sensible buy. In your role I’d think pencil be a good purchase. I already had the m1 iPad 13 and M1 Pro MacBook 14 before I got an M1 ultra on Costco sale. If I was starting fresh I’d go the same route as you did but bought a base iPad M4 11 with 5G for on the go computer and traded in my Intel 2019 MacBook to pay for the accessories.

@@richarddcrossley Sounds like you got a good setup on the go there. I am still pondering over the Apple Pencil Pro. I’m finding my note taking is quicker when typing but I am missing the quick doodles for wire framing etc. I’ll give it some more thought though for sure ✏️ 💭

I currently have iPad Pro 10.5” 2017 and planning on upgrade soon. Which one to buy, iPad Air M2 13” or iPad Pro M4 11”? Considering the price is similar (around $1K in 256gb) and I still need to buy apple pencil as well. I am using it for media & note taking. For heavy use, I still have MBP M1 16 inch

For some reason I thought you were going to trick us and say you got the 13 inch........Air instead of the Pro. 😂
