Good presentation, My take 1.Interest rate has no big impact on option Premiums 2. Non directional Player buying options is not recommended even for monthly options as well unless for hedging 3. Option buying for weekly also possible only for swing traders to gain expected high volatility 4. selling weekly options is still relevant for traders who have skill of adjustment, black swan events can be covered with hedging or stop loss

@@pauljob8959 Since Selling requires to huge margins , retail players prefer buying. Option selling is like suicide with limited capitals like < 10lakhs . Even with 10 lakhs, its good to diversify on different strategies and keep minimum 40% margin ideal for adjustment if need be. But to your point I got to hear Singapore market has very less buyer compared to option sellers.

@@pauljob8959 And Just so you know Margins are60% reduced for hedged positions, SEBI is directly/indirectly promoting option buying. So there will always be a balance of both.
