I'm trading from last 2 years in these years i made a lot of mistakes and also lost much more money that i can afforde . As a student i can say this is very difficult to do the two things at a time, but i learnt more precious skills such as " Patients, developed my psychology skills and also money management ". I don't think Trading can make you profit untill and unless you are among the top 0.1%. Many People start trading but everyone sells courses at the end. Why ? Because they know that it is not an easy task to make profit in a short term. But still they show you big dreams just to sell their useless courses. I also agree that some people make profit but if some one can make even 1% a day, they already doesn't need to sell courses. So, be cautious of financial influencers who show you big dreams because they are becoming rich just because you are paying them your hard earned money not because they trade. And the one who is earning from trading they doesn't even need to sell any course. However, Everyone can Invest for long terms through Mutual Funds or in Indexes as there is high chance of profit. The biggest risk of life is not taking risks that I learnt. The thing that brings the difference is the calculation of the risk that I'm taking. Most people lose money in trading that is a big fact, but if you go deep you will get to know that most people take trading as gambling that is the biggest reason for their loss. Trading is a game of taking calculated risks, a true trader does not predict any future, he just plays the game with proper maths. ( In trading it doesn't matter how much time we are right or wrong, the thing that matters is how much we take when we are right and how little we can give when we are wrong.) I am a daily trader and I agree with you that it is a full time job, we use different models and know our risk reward ratio before we even start the day and everyday at 9AM I am at office. I do meditation to keep with the stress. Over the years I have learnt to manage my stress when there is a loss on a trade. Like every other business trading also requires discipline. I have seen my friends lose a lot of money in trading even though I would have given them a strategy, therefore I agree trading is not for everyone unlike investing
