I have owned both. The sound quality on the wifi version is much better because you are getting your signal directly from WIFI. The extra cost of the wifi version is not valid now because you can buy each model for about the same price if you do a little shopping. They talk about the party feature on the standard model and I was not impressed with it.

Well, I paired a Charge 5 with a Flip 6 through PartyBoost and it's a match made in Heaven. The lows of the C5 pair very nicely with the mids and highs of the F6. Curious about the C5 Wifi, though, especially in case of Tidal Master tracks.

The bluetooth can onley play at the worst codec, sbc. The wifi kan play lossless hifi sounds, on wifi6! Big differense 😊/Peter

I have watched numerous JBL Charge 5 videos trying to compare the two models. Your video was among one of the best. Thank you for your work creating this video. I have one of each model and I want two that I can pair together. Looks like I will be selling my Charge 5 Wi-Fi.

i literally bought the wrong one by accident. what the hell is the point of the numbers if you also have a word to differentiate it. i had no idea there was a non - Wifi version 5. jeez what a waste of money

This is not the first review where nothing is said about why is there WiFi support in the first place. I wonder if the authors don't know or they think that the viewers aren't clever enough for that question. I know the answer, that's why I want to see a sound test with streaming over WiFi and BT. You don't even need a second speaker for that. But hell no, they just tell you which one is louder like this is the only thing that matters.
