I really appreciate this comparison! Because I just went to the only city on my island for foundation shopping, hoping to find Nars light reflecting, because I had heard a lot of good about it and I wanted something both illuminating/dewy/hydrating and full coverage... but none of the cosmetic type stores available had anything by Nars at all lol. So instead I bought the Shiseido synchro radiant in hopes I'd be getting a similar type of product. And judging by this video it seems I really did find something very smilar! From looking at your skin, I would say that the Shiseido looks ever so slightly more radiant and smoother, but it could very well be that I just think its shade is slightly lighter and possibly a smidge better match for your skintone. Really hard to tell any difference, indeed! They both look stunning on you, girl!

Great comparison!! Whilst I love the Nars and the feel while applying it I prefer the Shiseido as the shade is on point for me. ❤️ Nars is extremely long lasting but I just cannot find the exact match.

Ugh! I wish I saw this video a week ago! Shiseido SSRL foundation has been my all time absolute favorite foundation since it came out but I kept hearing rave reviews on the new Nars so I finally ordered it and as soon as I put it on I thought to myself “this is a bootleg Shiseido!” 🤣 It’s a beautiful foundation and the closest to the Shiseido that I’ve found but the Shiseido is definitely better…luckily I could return the Nars and it’s already on its way back. I don’t need a $50 foundation that’s ALMOST as good as my favorite. The Shiseido is just so freaking good…I don’t see anything ever topping it for me. Thanks for this review! Hopefully others see this before purchasing the Nars cause it’s a great comparison and it woulda saved me the hassle…🙌

Love your reviews! Both foundations look great. I got the Shiseido before the Nars launched, so I decided I did not need both. I just ordered and received the Joah Crystal Glow Primedation in DW010 and it looks exactly like my Shiseido SS Radiant Lifting Foundation in 440 Amber, except Joah is a tiny bit lighter (a better match). Price difference is max: Joah, ~$10 vs Shisiedo $47. I was shocked at the similarity.

I used the Tatcha canvas primer and the Urban decay stay all day primer, I think that’s the name. Idk, this happens a lot to me lol I was using the tatcha dewy skin moisturizer, so idk if that’s the issue. I just got in some new moisturizers today, so gonna check them out. I like a hydrated look but I have to use powder to set and then sometimes it’ll look dry. Sheesh!’ So frustrating to figure this stuff out

Lets compare SHISEIDO SYNCHRO RADIANT vs drugstore L'Oreal Infaillible 24H Fresh Wear foundation !? Why I am asking for this comparing because my !!! not powdered !!! L'Oreal Infaillible (my go to foundation) stood and didn't moved even after my visit to the dentist !
