Exactly, Pad 6 has key components from top shelves, sacrificing 5G, headphone jack and some utility. Whilst providing essential 8 gig ram, 870 snapdragon for just 300 USD. Still would recommend Redmi for students as performance on both is more than enough for school etc. But Redmi can have a SIM card, has bigger display etc.

A review of someone using the pad for a week, it really does has everything you need for a good price, i got mine for 300$ and i’m rarely using my main phone now which is 15 pro max, the big screen allows me to watch any content at higher resolution , the gaming performance 60 frame high settings and takes 3% per round for call of duty, the smooth software help with multi tasking, also my work apps with the work profile works great, ordered a keyboard case and its stylus ( still on the way 🤞) and I can’t wait to use them, using 2 multiwindow apps along with 2 floating apps super smoothly, the expandable storage is a huge deal breaker, i can literally pack a lot of stuff in it without the need of cloud storage, even though i can use the expandable storage as a backup, it’s my first tablet use and tbh i loved xiaomi interface as it’s close to ios which is something I’ve been using for decades, hope this helps 😁

I bought this tablet literally 6 days ago. It's amazing it never overheated everything is great until it wasn't. Out of nowhere the pad just lagged and shut down..and the Operating system isn't working anymore. I know it's great Specifications for such a price. But don't You fall for it and lose your money.. I am using the Redmi Pad Pro, the bigger screen and better battery life is definitely ideal for KZbin and Netflix. I am so glad I bought the Redmi Pad Pro, it does all I need for 1/3 of the cost of an ipad. Btw, I used to own a Gen 1 iPad Pro 12" and I don't feel I am missing out a lot.

When it comes to drawing, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is better in terms of the stylus' performance (I highly recommend you buy the official stylus, as others do not offer pressure sensitivity or palm rejection). The Redmi Pad Pro Smart Pen needs to be charged through a cable, while the Xiaomi 2nd Gen Pen can be charged magnetically on the side of the tablet. The Redmi Pad Pro offers a wider screen for a larger space to draw on though.

I just got the Pad 6 (8/256) for 250 USD which includes a case and 2 screen protector. Funny enough, the Pad Pro with the same storage is only marginally cheaper (6 USD) to Pad 6 at where I'm getting (Lazada TH). I think Pad 6 is a no brainer; be it the higher refresh rate, higher pixel density, longer battery life, better performance, better camera, clearer speaker, the Pad 6 is ahead of Pad Pro in almost every single aspect except Pad Pro being new to the market so it will get one more year of software updates.

@@ilikeitdark13 Hi! It's been 5 days since my Redmi Pad Pro arrived. In my experience so far, it is really good. The display is very large, and the quality is on par with the Pad 6, just the latter is quite brighter. Still, I would say that the Pad 6 is much faster, but in normal scenarios, they are more on the same experience. Also, there are quite some limitations with the Redmi Pad Pro when it comes to system rendering like the animations, and the blur in the control centre which is not available here. Overall, still, this tablet is worth checking out too if you are into bigger displays. Also, this is quite an advantage for productivity especially if you have all its official accessories which I also have (the Redmi Smart Pen is better than the Gen 2 Pen when it comes to performance).

The Xiaomi Pad 6 and the Redmi Pad Pro almost offer the same performance, with the Xiaomi Pad 6 having an upper hand. Pad 6's advantages mostly only apply to gaming, which is not what you will be using it for. However, with the uses you mentioned, the Redmi Pad Pro's larger screen may be more suitable for you. It also has expandable storage if you need it.

@@Stranger-ny6xw 8GB RAM alone doesn't mean better performance. What you need is a better chipset along with better memory. Both the pads were available for 18k-21k during the big billion days, and there's no doubt that Xiaomi pad 6 deal was way superior. Diwali sale is coming and maybe you can get the XIAOMI PAD 6 8GB VARIANT for under 22k. Pad 6 has a smaller display but better resolution. Processing is at least 1.5 times better than the latter, which helps in gaming. I don't think you'll be missing the bigger screen of pad pro, cause I don't.

@@Stranger-ny6xw I recommended pad pro to the other guy because videos and notes are his top priority, that doesn't require heavy processing. Also the Redmi stylus is more affordable than the Xiaomi pen. Pad Pro should be chosen only if you're ready to sacrifice better processing for a slightly bigger screen, with lower resolution than the latter. I really think you should go for pad 6
