I am 24 yrs old worked as Software/ML Engineer at LTI Mindtree i was wondering is MS in CSE from IITs worth it at my age (25,26 by the time i join) ? I left LTI as was fed up with below par projects and incompetant Seniors who were just working there to save their jobs. Even though i did some DSA (600+ Leetcode and GFG combined...not boasting) and development , but still lack on strong foundations in Computer Fundamentals as i did my BE in ECE , which plagues me even today as i am not getting enough interviews. Hence i was thinking for pursuing MTech CSE , i am ready to work as hard as i can and won't settle for anything less than IIT/IISC. Also i genuinely want to make a career in the domain of AI and feel MS candidates are preferred by most companies. Also i can see you did your B.E in 2012 soo you are in your 30's i am assuming , how's PhD experience and your motivation behind it, i am curious.

Since you are in LTI, I think its a good company you could change to big companies like Microsoft after getting 4 to 5 years of experience know?

@@JosephA-q8t Yeah but I think that will involve a lot of efforts and I clearly don’t want to spend time with senior specialist engineers who can’t even debug a loop , no knowledge of space time complexity hence don’t care about good/ bad solutions as long as it works. Seriously I sometimes wonder how some people are earning 20lpa+ while being so ordinary at work.

No plan as of now as it needs a lot of effort to design a course. In future, Definitely I have plan to teach research oriented courses like Graph ML, LLMs on youtube.
