Have the push goggles myself. Absolutely love them. Are on the smaller side of high end goggles. But the additional features make up for it. What was not mentioned was the tabs the unite has on the top where the venting is. These tabs prevent sunlight causing the glare which most goggles have when the sun is at a angle. The nose adjustment is brilliant! Allowed me to get a perfect fit for my face. Which extends its comfort and prevents any fogging Things I like- -nose adjustment - fantastic mask for glasses users because of the nose adjustment -chin strap is super comfortable - a very solid mask case -solid breathability and field of vision - 4 min the most to take apart mask and clean Addressing this idea that the lenses are not the BIGGEST. One doesn't need all that lense from the EVS to have a great field of vision. Most high end goggles and mid range have phenomenal field of vision. Things i think could be better- - foam, not terrible but could be better -price tag, price is steep but one can say the case and chinstrap make up for it - lense durability, i don't know if this is a common thing, but first day out with them i got gogged and realized it had left a mark which is not major but a thing to note. Also lenses are easy to scratch, encountered a deadly branch and left a scratch on the lense. All in all, highly recommend this goggle because of its unique features . But do recommend you always try out any goggle you're interested in buying. You are paying a steep price, and you want to choose whats best for YOU .

I own the EVS and the I5 and they are both amazing would be nice to try out the Push mask. They are all amazing, but it seems that most mirror lenses have issues with scratching, I hear the dye dyetanium lenses are harder to scratch

I think all masks get that impact mark on the lenses from a solid gog shot. My Proflex lenses have done that for years. Subtle, but still there. Recent'y bought a Push but I'll have to wait until next season to test it out. Little smaller coverage than my Proflex but I want to try it with the chin extension.

Could have pointed out the I5 comes with an attachment to attach an action cam w/o the need to "mod" the goggles to fit said action cam.

I rock the unites. Super comfy, not a lot of echoing, no fog... but theyre over $200. My first set of goggles were the profilers. Now, those are some great goggles that wont break the bank.

The evs mask has more venting on the sides than the push mask. The push mask just has the small patch of holes on the sides , but the evs mask has the 3 big slits and all of the smaller holes. And also one very big oversight on the push mask is that when you are hit in the face paint will accumulate inside the hole where you adjust the nose piece.

So can the the Dye i5 strap be used on another brand mask, say the Empire EVS? Because, myself I'm thinking in replacing my old E-Vents, maybe with the EVS, but I don't want to lose my customized features, like fans and extra vents (I wear prescriptions and they do fog). I'm even entertaining the idea of creating a detachable top hard shell (from a bump cap) that would also include air vent ducts.

I have the i5. It's a REALLY great mask, but there's 2 downsides. The breathability could be better but it's ok. The other thing is that it's pretty hard to take out the lens first time. I thought of buying a pair of grills, but they where to small

I feel like somebody that had a hand in the design of the I5 mask wore a welding helmet at some point. Same style adjustment in the back.

They forgot few of essential unite details. There is slit vents up the nose bridge and side flaps that fold in and that's a super nice feature in magfed paintball.

Quick question about lens color. I just bought a vio contour with black smoke lens. I mostly play rec ball but it seems really dark (havent used then yet though) whats the best lens for woods/rec? Clear? Copper? Help a brotha out

The yellow tint seems fairly popular for darker situations

The yellow tint lens help with seeing camo. Also does make everything brighter. Down side is that if you play in bright conditions, the yellow can be almost too bright.

Finally a new mask video. I was just looking at mask videos last night and they were all a little old. I love the I5s but I have a big face. I'm 280 lbs 6,5 football player. Should I get the DYE I5 OR the Virtue VIO extends ? The ascends. The Virtue Contour is nice but its smaller.

The VIO Ascend is wider towards the back than the i5. I have tried both on. I preferred the i5 but that's cuz my head isn't that big. Try both on at your local pro shop. See whichever one fits best.

Some random comments. So perplexing as to how Dye doesnt offer a larger version of the I5 for those of us with big faces. Empire Eflex is probably still my fav mask with the stupid lens hold tab being the worst part. Virtue Vio Extends is my 2nd fav...Empire missed the boat with the EVS though it looks cool. I think Virtue and Dye have the best lenes in the game.

Evs-Angel gives no visual advantage. If you have tunnelvision no amountof vision on the mask will increased it. Grills are suficient for players with field awarenes and functional ears.

Yeah everyone said I had a big head but the I5 fits me very well even with my glasses. My evs mask fits good too but the I5 ratchet strap is alot better than normal straps

Just ordered the I5, strap was the difference for me. I grow my hair out at times and the other makes have the same strap as my scuba goggles and they rip my fucking hair out, hate that shit. Seems to me there is very little difference when it comes to the other aspects of all the masks.

Decided to pick up the I5 due to all the reviews and the camera attachment. Well, the I5 claimed tri layer foam, which it is not. Foam is actually a bit uncomfortable. They would fog (indoors around 60 degrees). Definitely echo and yet hardly any protection from mouth shots (mouth was bleeding from one hit). The "quick" lens change is a joke! The only nice features are the smaller size, camera mount, and the ratchet system. Comparing this to my Sly Profit I have worn for a while. Only issue I have with the Sly was it echoed. Other than that, the profit is an excellent mask and they should keep making them/update them. I am looking at the Bunkerkings, Push, and Empire mask to try out as well.

Tbh for me the foam is comfortable and the i5 in general is great, and the fit in general is perfect for me. Maybe my face shape suit the design 🤷🏻‍♂️
