Not too much different than it does in 3years. according to a recent cornell gpt is training g on such a high amount of data that it will run out of new "good" language data by 2026 (with a medium date of 2024) and out of machine and 2030 to 2050 for image data

@DavidLee-id3lf

Yes. A component of machine learning is giving data to train the program. GPT 2 was trained on 1.5 billion unique parameters. GPT 3 skyrocketed that number to 175 billion. However the amount of parameters has grown to such an extent that we are approaching a point where new unique human generated data (books websites and the like) is going to start becoming more and more scarce. The recent study I referenced (which I cant link cause youtube) which was submitted in october of 2022 suggested this good useable textdata would be exhausted by 2026 and even put a median date of 2024. It was a bit more generous with image data suggesting image and video models had until 2030-2050 before they reached a wall of new image data to train on.

Sorry but you got this one wrong. 😄

The idea that you discuss in this video has a name. In economics this is known as "creative destruction" where yes when you make a car some jobs are destroyed but new jobs are created. This doesn't mean that people who did job a move to job b, some are left behind but creative destruction is not a bad thing, it's progress, and I'm looking forward to it

hey Dhaval, I have a quick question. Now a days I am learning the concepts and using gpt for coding is it a good practice. I am thinking that understanding the concepts and how to analyze the results is more important than coding because whatever the coding part that is required is given by gpt. Am I correct regarding this type of approach? is the future more focused on conceptual understanding rather than coding. For the support of this argument Mr.Satyanadella garu said in the recent interview with wall street journal that in TESLA developers used GitHub copilot for their 80% of coding. kindly provide me your views on this... Thank you in adavance

Hello, I tried to code a Multilayer Neural Network for classification which I applied to a dataset of images of cats and dogs. To solve the overfitting problem I applied the regularization method (L1 and L2) without success (accuracy test max = 60%). Knowing that the code works perfectly on data generated with the scikitlearn tool. I would be grateful if you could give me some indications in order to achieve an acceptable accuracy test.

Came to this video for concrete examples and forecasts, not a repeat of the inappropriate horse carriage analogy(do you see horses having a lot of jobs now? that's the point, people are the horses now) and vague hopes of adaptation(how to adapt, especially if you're not far in your career?). What if you're not an AI engineer or a data analyst; not to mention these fields will become very competitive, because at a certain point, increases in productivity *do* lead to a *total* shrink in needed jobs. Even now, a decent chunk of people are not unemployed only because of bullshit jobs.

Brother I understand what you say that it will create jobs as it comes more advanced but unfortunately that one day will come when A.I will be so advanced that it will not need human intervention at all? Because right now think about it if it can do simple to advanced functions then one day will come where it can perform complexed workflow. Like who thought that cars with wings will come one day? It has already. It’s still pretty risky brother because less humans would be needed for a single role like you are saying if 10 needed but now 5, time will come when 10 needed but then only 2 will be needed and those 8 will be jobless because A.I would be so much advanced to handle other tasks, I could be wrong but I mean if it can do this much that day will not be far when it can improve itself and do more things. I personally feel now attorney who analysis / discusses paperwork and judges those positions safe
