Thanks so much, and yh I also prefer Marvel 1 but after playing both I couldn't ignore the amount of effort they put on the second game with characters and open world. Favourite character has got to be doctor strange but he definitely wasn't given enough abilities in both games 😅

LEGO Marvel Superheroes 1, no contest, no debate. The Roster of X-Men/mutants, Fantastic Four, Inhumans, GOTG, The Avengers, Spider-Man, All their respective villains SO SO GOOD, however some abilities and characters are repeated quite a lot. Original Storyline/Voice acting LEVEL just worked far better in the first game compared to the 2nd. The level design and pacing of unlocking characters is done extremely well, that ending is so cinematic my god. Too much MCUism in Marvel Superheroes 2 it takes away from it's uniqueness, hub world i hated too much going on, but Dr Strange, Captain America, Hulk, Ms Marvel, Moon Knight and Black Panther, oh and all the GOTG were my favourite characters. I hated the UI and general design of the 2nd game. I don't really care for The Avengers game apart from the 2 films and the Avengers characters everyone else i never played as, again I'd rather just watch the respective movies.

Same it's the only one I had when it released so will always like it more. I understand why people like ms1 more as at the time it would be revolutionary, but in my opinion it's a bit outdated now
