They're all interesting based on character rosters. Lego Avengers largely based on the MCU with a little bit of character designs from the comics, Marvel 2 the same but more variants of well known characters, and obviously Marvel 1 had the Fantastic 4 and X-Men.

Marvel 2 didn’t feel like the same universe as 1 because 1 was half MCU based (it’s hinted the chitari invasion happened in that universe) whereas 2 went almost fully towards the comic book version of the avengers (cause characters like wasp, giant man, and captain marvel weren’t actually on the avengers team in the MCU)

Lego marvels avengers felt like the super heroes sequel, because it maintained lots of characters, the same open world (and added more), the same simple aesthetic in lots of characters and the same UI, the problem with Lego marvel super heroes 2 is that they changed all the characters (and made some really over detailed when they didn't need it), all the UI, and the open world, and in my opinion, the open world wasn't really good, the idea of it was, but I didn't like it.

LMSH1 is not only one of the best Lego games, it's one of the best Marvel games in general. The roster alone, unspoiled by the MCU or film studio red tape, makes it the best of the bunch by far. Tons of characters, from the massively popular to the niche as hell, up to and including the X-Men and the Fantastic Four? It doesn't get any better than that.

There was a glitch in the 3rd level in Lego marvel superheroes 2 where you can glitch out of bounds and another glitch where you can freeze yourself in the air using a custom character that can throw a weapon and can use webs you have to throw the weapon at any object and quickly start swing with the web and once the weapon hits you you're frozen and to do the first glitch place you character under the carts of lava and you have to use an invulnerable character I recommend using the grandmaster

I think the first one is over all better mainly because of the fact in the first one you can roam around without having to complete the whole game first which was a pain to do like what if I just want to play. 2 is really good as well considering it had actual voice actors and everything which is really nice because you don’t get that in many games or at all really, avengers was an alright game it was practically 1 and 2 but with actual movie lines it was pretty interesting thought and I like it for what it was

I've played all three and I totally agree with you. LEGO Marvel Superheroes was one of the first LEGO games I played and probably the best you could start with. If you love Marvel Comics then check the first game out. The others are great as games but when it comes to the ultimate experience for a Marvel game then the first is so much better. No matter what you may say you can't deny that it's a great Marvel videogame.

We'd take turns being antman and hulk buster and once we tracked eachother down we'd chase eachother to try and blow the other up. I was amazed by the size and variety of the game. I think LMSH 2 is my favorite because the hubworld and levels looked nice, the map was easy to understand, the game was fun to mess around in, and most importantly, the missions to unlock the character tokens weren’t missions missions with random characters who had nothing to do with the character that you were unlocking, but I like all 3 of them.

@@coopercollingburn5242 Being an Iron Man fan I love Avengers. It t me has more replayability. You can complete all the side quests and replay them again if you want. I did however mod the game so all of iron Man's suits were usable from the start. You can also just go around New York stopping a decent amount of crime, where as Marvel 1 I don't think did that, and Marvel 2 does have that, but It's stupid that they removed Iron Man having all those suits and being able to switch them to what you needed. I hope we get a Lego Avengers 2 that will keep getting new content. Especially as the Globe mission select was pretty cool of a thing.

Lego Marvel's Avengers PERFECTED the Hub World with individual zones you can visit. I honestly dislike how Superheroes 2 just merged all the worlds together in one big hub world, that feels random, too large, and almost a fever dream. I liked being able to travel to individual worlds and hubs in Avengers. The way the did it in that game was perfect.

Personal Favorite: Lego Marvel Super Heroes (1) had an amazing use of the characters and their superpowers, plus personally I have great nostalgia while thinking about it. Personal (close) second: Lego Marvel Avengers lost some of the great characters we had in LMSH(1) but at the same time added even better(!) characters with fun new features like Ant-Man and Fin Fang Foom with the size changing abilities, or Iron Man with the new suits and suit changing screen and animations. Personal least :( favorite: Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, at least for me, was kind of a disappointment. it had much more characters, but less were memorable. The map change was nice as a concept but I would still like to play inside New York City. Despite all of the points I have mentioned above, I still emjoyed playing this game and even played it again a couple of times. Thank you for reading, have a nice day

Lego marvel superheroes 2: I absolutely love the graphics and the open world, always unique and fun, especially love how there’s different filters for different places. Some missions are amazing like basically all of the ones including spider man. Oh yeah love how you could choose what part of the story you could do at a time not just being restricted. Main complaint is where is the consistency from the 1st one and Hawkeye and black widow only being quest characters Lego marvel avengers: I mean I absolutely love the films and have no interest in the comics so this was a bonus for me. I actually really do like how the voices were from the films. Another great part is the over world, there being lots of cool areas you could travel to. Lego marvel superheroes: I played it recently and it wasn’t too great in my eyes. While yes there were some memorable missions like the X men one, most of the ones in space, the dinosaur island and obviously galactus. Love how it basically confirmed every Lego game would be voice acted by being the second one they used proper voice lines not from the movies (unlike LLOTR). However now for my dislikes about it. I feel like the overworld is pretty boring except for the helicarrier(is that how it’s spelled) as I feel like Lego marvel superheroes did it kinda better? Another thing I do not like is the flight while yes I did start on console I’ve moved to my Nintendo switch and the flying is torture for this being my second Lego game on the switch. The Thor DLC is useless as there’s like ONE good character, other dlc was great tho. In conclusion I will be adding to this list after I’ve replayed both LMS2 and LMA and the list might change but for now this is how I stand. Also absolutely love how you both criticise and say how good the games are with valid reasons. Great ranking to you!

Based off of nostalgia, how much I played them, and other things… 1. Avengers 2. LMS2 3. LMS The strongest roster is LMS, but I never really connected with it. Also, and I know it was good for its time, but the graphics haven’t aged well

LMA is a great concept having the Avengers Movies be in Lego form where yo-yo can play, but I said great in concept and everything you said about it is spot on.

Lego marvel superheros 1 the character cast alone and the great story and the amazing open world! And its even more great because it came out in 2013! Game was way ahead of its time! The special traits in each character was great! Wolverine with the Adamantine skeleton and claws! To deadpool to stan lee and playing as lego hulk spiderman and iron man! All just awesome!

in my opinion i'm saying this with just memory i haven't played marvel super heroes but when i was a kid the jump from super heroes and avengers was massive so many more mechanics that made the game feel so different it was amazing i'm placing avengers number 1 but that is just from my memory's opinion i have to hop back on marvel super heroes and experience it agian.

I loved the first one as a kid I played on the 3ds. Never fully finished it cause I dumb as hell lol. I also got stuck on a part where u had to float on some air vent, for a month because I didn’t know how to. I might get it again on the switch for memories

Lego Avengers holds up the best to me. A really great sequel to Marvel Superheroes when it comes to improvements

lego marvel avengers is quite almost the upgraded version of lego marvel superheroes 1 minus the nostalgic atmosphere and small but satisfying roster featuring the xmen and fantastic four

Personally I would've said that lego Marvels Avengers was the best game, most likely because I prefer lego that's based on films rather than comics. I'd then say that lego Marvels Superheroes is second, it was an absolutely fabulous game and I loved it. Then I would say that lego Marvels Superheroes 2 was the worst, I think it's ultimately because the story and setting just isn't really believable to me and it had a lot of comic book elements to it and characters

Superheroes 1 is the best for sure. Every aspect of it is peak. I really enjoyed Avengers when I was younger. Even though it wasn’t as good as superheroes 1, I really liked, it was like playing through the movies, with the original lines, cool attention to details. Loved it. And superheroes 2 is the worst. I mean it’s a good game but out of these 3 it’s just… I don’t know, I didn’t like, so many cool ideas, so many cool animations, ideas, but the voice acting and script was horrendous, I didn’t like the mission designs… so for me it’s superheroes 1, Avengers close second and Marvel superheroes 2

I got these games as a bundle on a big sale due to sheer lack of other marvel games out there especially on Xbox where like you see spider man and wolverine coming to PlayStation and even switch got ultimate alliance 3 exclusively and Xbox basically just gets the occasional multiplatform.
