My buddies Williams Genesis broke within the first 5 swings. One of the swings chipped/flecked the paint off, and another swing actually put a crack into the barrel. Swing them in warm weather only folks.

I've seen the black and gold genny in 220. I think those were the ones sold in the us, although I'm sure some retail stores in the northern us sold the international exclusives. They're all the same anyways. There weren't any recalls or defects from them, so the different paint job is just that, a paint job

I swung the red one piece 220 a while back. Impressions were the same as you guys had, sounds and feels terrible but the ball just goes.

I just got an Everett Williams bat and have put about 150 swings on it with Classic Plus and Classic M's mainly off the tee, in 60+ degree weather. No seams, chips or cracks yet. I can see why they sometimes do chip though as the letters and graphics are raised and you can kind of feel the edge of the graphics with your finger. The bat feels light as a feather and is really nice to swing though. It does still have a pinging sound instead of that nice crack and doesn't feel especially hot. Sounds very much like a DeMarini Nautalai. Hopefully, it just needs to be broken in a little more.

I have the whole set of the 1pc Gens. Prefer them over the 2pc but I do agree the 2pc is a little more forgiving. My white gold with .5 oz endload is totally fire and gives a little more control for placement

Had the EW crack like you showed in the videos, but then a small strip of the outer barrel fell off. Still passed compression, but umps wouldn't let it be used in a game, even if it was only cosmetic. I hope they get it figured out too. Its so nice to swing.

Bathound and BatFlip BP did reviews on USA version and it did not produce exitt velo and distance of other USA bats...I hit it and it does feel great but numbers do not match Monsta or KP23 USA bats

Just ordered my genesis and some 52/300s. How many swings do you recommend until broken in and would you BP on the regular with it? Love your videos btw

I did about 100-120 half swings while rotating the barrel before i started taking full swings with it using .52/300. I used it in an event after that it held up just fine. It doesn’t really lose that Louisville ping but I’m pretty sure that it’s good to go now.

What bat compression tool are you using? How much? Is there a BATBROS discount? Just bought 2 Slugger Genesis 27.5 bats with your code, one with 0.5 oz endload, other with 1.0 oz... saved $132 total ($60/bat, $6/bat s&h) tyvm!!! Still not sure man - The Everett Williams would definitely pass through, but if there were like missing chunks/pieces on the barrel like in the photo I showed at the beginning, then they would probably throw it out

I'm 5'10-170 and I bought the 26 ounce Everett Williams bat. Feels like a toothpick when swinging it so the extra 1/2 ounce of endload of the Marshburn might not feel bad. I don't love the way the bat sounds (very pingy) and it doesn't seem to have insane pop. Very easy to swing though.
