I finally got to go magnet fishing with my grandson yesterday... in the Texas heat 🥵...he wanted to check the drainage canal just up the road from his house. Low and behold, he pulled out a dadgum revolver!! It was pretty exciting! He's only been twice now, and had to call police both times! 😅

That's insane A gun in a canal! I need to get out to Texas with y'all.

@@danidip yes you do! Beaumont is right up the road, 6 miles, and the crime rate there has sadly grown tremendously. I was so shocked we got a dadgum revolver out of that tiny canal here in ity-bity Rose City!! 😲

I use the MEGACUBE and I also use the BARBARIAN, BEAST & HARDCORE...all MAGNETAR magnets. Found all kind of cool stuff, like guns, swords, canonballs, saves, jewelry...you name it! Nice to see you use the MAGNETAR magnets..indeed great material to have in the arsenal. Greetings from Soest (Utrecht), the Netherlands 😎🖖

That was really cool to see all the older magnets, I’ve only used a flat and a 360 magnet. Thanks for the tips!!

I loved my 550 kg clamp magnet but after having a go with a 360 I've converted to Magnatar Barbarian, it's great for UK canals and rivers. Also a winch and a graple hook are essential for those heavy finds deep in the mud.

Just got the megacube yesterday as soon as I got it I opened it and lock tighted it going to go to a few spots later but yeah really excited about trying it out, I’ve been fishing with a brute boss 360 3600lbs pull for about two years I’ve found guns, knives and a few cell phones. You know I gotta say when I first saw you fishing with the megacube I said to myself no way would I ever get a cube magnet but the one thing that you were saying about going to a spot that was fished out 5 or 6 places and then finding more things I said ima give it a go! Thanks Dani

I love my 2400lbs 360s and 1400lb clamp. If I know there’s a lot of steel sea wall or on a steel bridge I’ll use my clamp.

2nd magnet was incredibly rusty that's also a reason it glides off so easy. Also it depends on the surface of the object u pick up, often it's very dirty and the magnet doesn't stick to it as it should. Also u should clean and wipe the magnet with a dry towel after every use to prevent rust, do not leave them wet until next time ur going out. Good for beginners to know. 8:29 Warning! Don't do that!! It's called science... I thought u was a pro at magnetfishing. Of course u hurt ur back trying to remove it that way- pulling straight up, that's dangerous bc u never know how much power u need to remove it, it might also make u fall backwards, or hurt ur back even worse. That's NOT the way to do it, u should do as u did when u were able to remove it; slide it to the side to get less contact between the magnet and the object. I'm a beginner and even I know thats the way how it's done. Be careful out there.

As your right to some stuff, not all. Rust doesn’t affect the magnets strength. Although stuff on the magnet does therefore you should clear it everytime. This video wasn’t a tip video on everything you need to know. Just what you need to about the magnets you’re looking at buying. As far as how to pull magnet off, any one that’s been magnet fishing knows straight up is the easiest way unless using a double sided or clamp. These magnets are high powered. But I get what you’re saying.
