Ur info is very much right sister. U r not wrong. Not much option after doing MD Pharmacology. If u get MD or DNB anesthesia later round pick it up. Dnt take MD Pharma. Dnt get demotivated. U r following right approach for counselling. Also can take MD path . Path has better job options than Pharma @ anyday

firstly congratulations on getting this branch . like you i am too intrested in this subject/ branch and got allotted in round 1 . totally agree that these days there is lot of saturation, but MD Pharm may have an extra edge if they are looking to work in highly specialized or clinical environments (like hospitals, research labs, or academia).

Well. Don't be so negative you will definitely get patho in round 2 and now days so many medical colleges are established so you can find gud place as. AP if you are ready to relocate initial pay will b less in MNC but over time it will increase so you can expect average salary around 12-16 lpa

Yes don't take md pharmacology..it has less job opportunities..and you will have to compete with mbbs graduates for the same job in pharma industry...and if you do get such job, you will have mostly a corporate life rather than a medical oriented life..hope you get a better seat in state counselling..all the best 👍🏽

Try St Johns medical college bangalore. You will get AIQ seats. There is no fees for non clinical courses. Pls Note , in the first round they might charge fees. But as usual no one takes non clinical seats. So it will be given for free.

I also got pharma in my state gmc , but i will let it pass and try my luck in next rounds. Anyways hope of clinical branches are less this time for me. Will give one lastvattempt in 25. But if you are really interested in pharma and college is also good you should go with it. Saturation and competition is in every branch whether its clinical or non clinical. Here are some of the prospects of MD PHARMA which i have understood - 1. Teaching(ACADEMICS), if you are interested. If not teaching, u can get into these following areas 2. Regional medical advisor - Working under a company - Mostly a marketing work - Frequent travels, u will be alloted areas in india like East zone, South zone etc and u will be travelling to thise areas - Atleast 10-15 days travel per month - Min 90K is the initial salary plus u will get lots of bonuses of around 2 lakhs per year 3. Clinical investigator - Working in a CRO - Hectic work - 9-7 job - Lots to explore and career development - Min 80K salary and a stable place, no travels. 4. Pharmacovigilance physician: - Desk job - U will be asked to work in shifts - Highest pay and has a bright future - Many increments - People who go into this job never had a thought of quitting, most comfortable and best one among the offers available - Atleast 1 lakh at entry level 5. Regulatory authorities - Less opening for freshers - They ask for experienced people from CRO - Central / State government job - Decent pay - Decent travel - A typical government job

Congrats!! If you don't mind, can you share your point of view on dermat vs Radio? In state counselling, I am getting dermatology seat in my hometown and Radiology seat in another town. I don't like going to another place for Radio but people are saying dermat is getting saturated and no jobs in private hospitals. Is it true? Should I go for Radio? I am an introvert and thought of changing hometown is giving me anxiety.

Radiology is anyday better than Dermatology. Believe me. Dermatology has no openings in corporate hospitals and government sector too. It highly flourishes upon private practice. Radiology is inevitably the safest branch.

MD pharma has lots of saturation because , coporate company dont hire MD pharma ppl much and MD Patho has lost its charm ,lots of saturation nowadays , so Think and choose the branch , even if you think of Drop Nothing wrong in it All the best ❤

There were 2 freshers and 1 in- service candidate in 1st year. In second year there was one secondary DNB candidate who was previously working as consultant in gmc rajouri because she was a DGO. Alongwith that there is only one fresher and one more in service candidate in 2nd year. They have an Army of Junior Residents. Night duties come around 5-6 per month tbh mostly in Labour room. It's comparatively chill than obgyn in other hospitals. I have worked there as Jr. Working hours for Pg were 24 hour+ round krwaao next day+ OT day if any.

Emergency medicine is entirely different from basic internal medicine. I think family medicine and paediatrics would be a substitute for md medicine. All the best for future rounds.

Whenever you want to do any PG please go to respective college and subject .. Look for what work is done in 3 years .. PG... See what kind of life You want clinical or non clinical..... If u like clinical . Don't take any non clinical branch... If u don't like clinical take any non clinical.. Like pharma... Patho.. Pharma about seminar journal teach UG student .. No opd exposure. .

Welcome 🎉🎉 pharma has no emergency no headache but u have to research base job . Which may be boring again animal experiment core pharma drug modelling are boring... U can look at core pharma other than kdt.. U can know what boring stuff u have to read if u can handle . Pharma is cool cool life .. Don't think about stethoscope..once u join pharma... Content of pharma in ug is totally different from PG pharma so look at books where u have to read statistics experimental pharma book which is boring no need to buy go to any resident u must see their books...

Take clincal branch from Neet pg. Even if you get MD Anesthesia or ent optha in clincal you'll be better off
