right!!??? when i stan them back then some of the members barely speak in english because they're still struggling, but voila!!! listen to them now i'm sobbing 😭 i guess rn they could surpass my conversational english fluency because i tend to speak more formally and academically rather than conversationally, since i only speak it in a class & it isn't my native language. I'm just really proud of them 😭

I think when Ryujin mentioned an artist is someone who can express her own vibe, her own ideas... so I think I'm not an artist yet... but I want to be one of them," she was primarily referring to writing her own rap lyrics, which she hasn't learned to do yet (as she said in an interview during their US tour). Yet I'm 100% sure she's got what it takes, and she'll be expressing herself in original lyrics in no time! A rap legend in the making. (I'd love to see her collab with TWICE Chaeyoung!)

I just love these girls. I think this is one of the few K-Pop groups that actually has all the members speaks pretty decent English already. In one of the KZbin videos I watched about Itzy is that they actually take English classes. Thank you JYP for that.
