Summer Skadi is my priority so I'm waiting for her and Wu's banners to drop before I consider Avalon's banner. I don't really plan on rolling for her as I do have Merlin. They're so close to the same kit I should make it with him fine enough. Ibuki I never planned on for so good luck with that NP6 for the Raita collection.

I've contemplated a lot whether to pick Summer Skadi or Ibuki... But since my Sushi is already nearing bond 15 I opted for the latter and 700 quarts later, I barely got NP2. I'll try to scrounge up some quarts and try my luck in getting Skadi until the banner ends.

Summer Skadi is first for me. I already sunk 200 quartz into lady avalon and while I would love her, I just got Merlin so I don't feel a desperate need to get her. I REALLY want Summer Ibuki, especially after the summer event story. So Skadi > Ibuki np2. If I feel a desperate need, there's always GSSRs/destiny order/next year's banners.

The actual reason she’s a pretender, hardly mentioned in the event actually, is that she’s simply pretending to be Merlin’s little sister and not Proto Merlin. With the implication that blowing her cover will cause her to disappear.

Also imagine if proto Morgan was male... Fortunately for Arthur, I think Mordred is the only other genderbent on in their roster--which actually makes him recursively the correct gender in our timeline. Anime shenanigans be shenaniganing.

Fino, you forgot to mention the most important application: Triple Merlin System! Jokes aside, one big perk of Lady Avalon for me is that I'm doing a Castoria-less challenge for story and challenge content (outside LB6), and having another prime Arts support along with Tamamo, Xu Fu, and Lan Ling is great. Heck, Merlin/Tamamo is such a powerhouse support system I've actually run them in Arts and Buster teams despite the color mismatch, so being able to fully synergize on card type is amazing.

For me now, Proto Merlin is a party staple something Merlin never was for me since I got him Post Castoria, except for CQ. Her NP gain is so much better (starting at 100 3 enemy wave aside) and while it’s a shame her Buffs are 3 turns they’re not a problem for me personally.

One of my biggest issues was my inability to get Castoria, which meant before this event, I was relegated to using Nero Bride and Tamamo to get a decent number of Arts buffs needed to loop. Now with Xu Fu and Lady Avalon, I can much more reliably do so, not even potentially needing Lady Avalon outside of the fact that I simply prefer the defensive playstyle. Since Xu Fu provides basically everything that a looper needs on a slightly smaller scale, I can power mod with Tamamo more effectively, and if the stars align properly, potentially even go from Xu Fu to Tamamo to Oberon for major NP Damage buff shenanigans.

😂 May I suggest making a dedicated guide on the Immortal Team? You keep sprinkling in tips and tactics in seperate videos like here and Morgan's without going deep on the inner workings of a standard composition. I think people would appreciate a video on candidates for the main DPS (Himiko, Morgan, Qin Shi Huang) and what each of them brings to the table, which Merlin copliments each DPS the most, some suggestion on what other Servants could fit the backline in case Merlin/ Castoria die, when to change gears from "Protect Castoria Mode" to "burst them down", maybe a case study on a typical fight where the immortal team shines like the Kingprotea battle. I think such a video would be really interesting.

I was able to get NP3 Lady Avalon during my rolls and am very glad I did. Plus I got Merlin in the recent GSSR and used him in a roll ritual (along with the other servants that fit this event). Plus I got summer ibuki NP2 and now I've got a arts berserker farming servant.

For me the biggest use of her overcharge isn't as a replacement for Merlin in Immortal Teams but rather that she turns regular arts teams into pseudo-immortal teams. Castoria and FeMerlin together already have all the ingredients of an immortal team(those being solemn defense, np regen, healing, and overcharge), a combination that previously required 3 servants to achieve. Sure, she doesn't provide those things as often or as consistently as the 3-servant version but against most quests, even alot of challenge quests, it's enough to tank the boss. In exchange you can swap out Morgan on the frontline for an actual arts attacker and now you basically have a regular singlecore lineup with 1 arts attacker and 2 arts supports. The playstyle is similar to the immortal team with the goal of doing Avalon NP>attacker NP>castoria NP chain every three turns, using Avalon's invuln and overcharge for extra defense as needed, but your attacker does alot more damage because your not splitting your damage steroids between 2 different card types. For me she almost completely replaces Tammamo in Arts teams that require long-term sustain.

Personally I much prefer OG Merlin in the standard immortal comps of Morgan/Himiko, because I just enjoy going a little faster with the massive buster burst turns. I only rolled for Summer Ibuki and Summer Skadi myself, don't think I can justify spending more SQ on Avalon due to being such a niche pick over regular Merlin. I'd probably just run her as like an Arts crit support with 2030 if anything.

I ended up getting np3 Ibuki in less than 100 SQ, insane luck. 1st and 2nd multis hit Ibukis, totally floored me lol. I will try for a copy of Skadi tonight, and then Proto Merlin if I have any SQ left. Sitting at 700ish, so I have a decent chance to get both. After spending 360 SQ to double pull Arcuid, I still had over 500 & 33 Tickets for Lady Avalon & Summer Skadi, only for the Lady Avalon to completely "Drain me dry" & never show up. I did manage to pull 2 Gareths, 2 Qin Liangyu (NP4), another Chevalier d'Eon (NP2) & Yan Qing (NP1). I'm also all set on event CEs. They gave me 14 Cruising Dates! WTF?! Only 4-5 Jiangshi Attacks & 4-5 Twin Tails. First time I ever got to MLB 2 4* CEs and still have 4 copies to spare for the rest of the team. But I still want Lady Avalon! (Sigh), maybe next GSSR. 😟

I’ve spent about 200 sq for Merlina, but all I got was np3 summer Gareth. With 10 tickets and 100 sq, I was able to get one copy of S Ibuki and 2 copies of Erice. Right now my main plan is S Skadi. Have 400 sq remaining for her. If I have any left over, I’ll go for Merlina. But I have both Tamamo and Castoria, so I’m not hurting for Arts support.

Heh, for the regular Immortal Team I'd keep my regular Merlin. Mostly because because you get the bulk of your damage through Morgan's NP and Buster Crits (or Himiko Buster Crits), so Merlin's Hero Creations helps a lot more than an Arts buff imo. I see LA more as a sidegrade (or slight upgrade) to Tamamo for pure Arts stall team, rather than a competition for Merlin in Team Avalon. Not really interested in replacing either my Merlin or Tamamo, so I'll likely skip that banner.

Didn't even want Lady Avalon since I already own a Merlin. Did a multi for the lulz and she was the last card. Meanwhile, got NP6 Erice before Ibuki finally showed her fat ass after 500+ quartz. Then it took like 60 more tickets for NP2. Still have about 500 quartz left if I convert all my fragments. Not sure if I'll go for more Ibukis, try for at least 1 Skadi despite not really having invested quick servants or just keep saving for the rest of the year.

Enkidu? Oh he's a single target crit servant that's very good against bosses, especially those with divine trait. He pairs with crit support, and that's very good for you because summer skadi is the current best crit support.

If I'm not mistaken, proto-merlin is called by Drake with in arcade veeeery simply. Beast of the planet. So i suspect a proto-event of a sort, probably connected simultaneously to two beasts. One is someone proto-arthur is hunting and another one will be proto-merlin, probably plotting something like.. Using a sacrifice of another beast as a part of ritual, leaning world completely vulnerable. Also this title doesn't make any sense.

you mention how the Immortal Comp cares most about the "3 turn rotation" when it comes to comparing the Merlin NPs, as an argument for why np2 is the break even-ish point. But because Merlin's is 5 turn and stacks with itself, can't you consider the amount of NP OG merlin is generating per 3 turns as 25%? 10+10+5, since you'll get two turns of the last application's effects. That's why NP3 is the "get ahead" point for Avalon, where she flat out generates 26.25% compared to Merlin's 25% AND does it right from the start, vs merlin needing to get his second NP off before he's adding 25% instead of 15% per 3 turns. ...meanwhile we threw 99 rolls in thusfar and haven't seen anyone. waiting for Skadi to appear before we go any further X_X

As someone who got forced into her triyng to roll np5 Gareth I see her as a completly skipeable premium tamamo Yeah sure she can be used to make Castoria gain less bond but overall using SQ for bond benefits is kinda dumb Imo just roll if you like her because as it stands double castoria Oberon is better than going double Castoria Purin for 99% of the cases

Out of the 3 new Servants for this event I'd say she has the lowest priority, maybe you can even skip her if you already have Merlin, as her main use is providing an alternative for the Immortal Team. Still rolled for her and boy, 500 SQ just for 1 copy of Lady, yikes. Then on a whim I got 2 Summer Ibukis with just 210 SQ. Let's see how expensive of a woman Summer Skadi will be. Depending how that goes I may try to get a third copy of the oni.

I got a Lady Avalon np3 before i managed to np2 my summer Gareth And i still got quartz for a Summer Skadi, so....if i get lucky, maybe i can also roll for Ibuki maybe...Who knows!

Gonna be honest while i get this video. I wish people weren't trying to oversell this girl and rather just talk about which of the ones help your box more for your quarts. Kinda boggles me that we have 3 premiere servants and I havent really seen a type of video discussing whos more worth prioritizing of the bunch when players have boxes that benefit from a variety of card type supports.
