Simple - quality over quantity and niche topic. This is my go to chanel when I wanna improve/change in OBS bur fact its rather niche topic plus they are worthy and complete it is no no for yt. Here when you doing top 10 OBS plugins in 2024 you are doing intro video and 10 separate videos each 3 days for each plugin or algoritm will say no.

MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOD, thank you for answering the more GPU question. I was going crazy over since I thought that it DID use more. (Can't use it tho since my upload is like 15 and I can't use vertical since I have 30 things in every scene so converting those would take years of off my life... BUT I will get better upload speed and use it for other *horizontal* platforms).

One big thing when u multi is the chat most direct u have to have many chat windows open but i have used restream and it has a chat setup the mostly combines them into one very handy once u get over a few streams!

Multiple RTMP plugin for OBS has been out forever (better than Aitum IMO)...no one batted an eye! Aitum clones it and so many are now cancelling their subs to Restream like this is brand new! LOL

I use a plugin for OBS and input all my destinations and just stream it out to whichever ones I want. No monthly fee and never fails.

Mind you this only works if you have decent bandwidth. It doesn't tax your GPU though as it just feeds the same stream to all of them.

So if you are using the main encoder settings for vertical and horizontal, it still wouldnt take additional resources or would the format/resolution of the stream you are trying to send out also be a factor?

Havnt watched the video yet but is it possible to simply use both? like have a couple streams with Aitum and then have another stream sent to Restream? You could potentionally stream to 2 extra platforms with no cost to your upload speed.

Why not both? Stream to YT with main encoder, AV1, high bitrate, etc. And then with Aitum, H264 and low bitrate encoder to Restream.

Definitely your answer would be the best, if it wasn't for BeamStream which aside from being a new streaming platform, it has free unlimited restream capabilites like Restream.

Yo Nutty, what do you use for your audio to sub mix? I was playing around with Aitum and making sure music doesnt get streamed to YT. I use Sonar which automatically routes voice tracks etc. Doesnt seem like I can use Sonar if I want to do this. Whats your recommendation? Or just default OBS? I want to be able to split audio to the streams but still have control over the sliders for myself and stream.

I'm trying to set this up, but I'm just stuck on what settings I should have for the streams. I feel like my stream quality has went down, but I have fast internet speeds. I have NVENC H.264, so should I be running that as my main encoder (Twitch)? I'm running a single streaming PC with I9 and 4090 can it handle 4 different streams going at once?

If you use streamerbot the built-in chat can be docked in your Obs with the plugin Source Dock 🤔

@@assuntodavez Yes unfortunately, streamerbot is only compatible with Twitch and KZbin. A nice another alternative for multistream chat is socialstream ninja made by Steve Seguin. It's completely free and open-source. And, of course, compatible with Facebook Live and A LOT of platforms.

Social stream handles most chat systems including tiktok , Twitter, insta, Facebook kick, trovo, twitch, KZbin at least those I've tested myself. Get the browser plug-in & pop out the chat, it gives a dockable url that combines all active popouts

Be careful with Aitum. I successfully used Aitum last week for a dual YT stream (2 different YT channels) but when trying it last night Aitum would not trigger the 2nd stream and didn't have time to troubleshoot since no changes had been made and didn't realize until after going live - had to go live without the 2nd channel. Aitum even showed the 2nd stream in green...

THE RTMP plugin allows you to start all the streams at the same time you don't need to click each individual stream after you start the main one. This would annoy me to no end to have to start the stream then then have to click start for any additional streams.

QUESTION: Are you able to send different videos to a specific platform, kinda like how audio splitting works? I want to watch chat submitted videos, but YT is constantly flagging things with their copyright bots. Is it possible to send says just a static image to YT while having something else going on on Twitch? (I know this is a very niche use case, and most likely the answer is NO, but figured I'd ask)

The vertical plugin does not necesarily has to be a vertical canvas, you can set an horizontal canvas just like your main one, and set a specific scene for the community videos, then send the vertical flow just to youtube. Then you create a scene in the vertical with only your camera or a photo, and tie that scene to the community videos scene.

Transcoding on their end was only available to partners. I think 4k streams are being beta tested in Twitch, not sure if you can do it like that. However you can use a different encoding session in Aitum just for Twitch.

​@@flyc0de389. I'm using my gaming laptop to stream my Xbox . It's a few years old and I don't know if it can handle encoding 2 steaks at once sadly . Twitch did let me send it 4k about 6 months ago but no one could view my stream in real time just the vod after . Thank you for the advice though and I'll try it out 👍

hey i figured out a way to view all chats and its through, i just made a custom dock for OBS And Used the popout chat feature and copied the link from all of them and docked it, it works 🥳
