@@LivinginBentonville Well I've watched several of your other videos now and many of the questions are answered in those. 🙂 I guess most people move to Bentonville for the MTB stuff or Walmart, but I'm not really sure. We have been looking for a place that is less expensive and has church congregations with larger youth groups. The church we are members of has a smaller presence in this area and I'd like my kids to have a larger youth group and church friends. That is something pretty specific to each viewer though so hard to address in a general sense. Also it is just becoming very expensive and crowded in our area of NC. The fact that there are a lot of bike trails there in Bentonville is nice but not our primary reason to move anywhere. Also still looking at technical / engineering / manufacturing type job market / availability in the NWA area. I work remote now but that may not last forever. Thanks!

The reasons you mentioned are some of the examples as to why people move here… But I know people that move here and don’t ever mountain bike, don’t work for Walmart, or any of the other major corporations that are here… They’re looking for a different way of life compared to where they moved from. There are multiple churches in Northwest Arkansas that have large youth groups. From what my friends tell me, you might want to check out Cross Church and or Fellowship which I believe are two of the largest youth group congregations. Thanks always for watching

One major entertainment venue in Fayetteville is the Walton Arts Center bringing national and international musical shows, as well as Broadway plays, comedians, symphonic productions and art installations. There is also a wealth of cultural opportunities at the University of Arkansas.

Why no mention at all of Springdale? Is it that bad?
@LivinginBentonville
@LivinginBentonville 6 ай бұрын
Jim, you’re checking out all my videos tonight lol. Truth be told, Springdale doesn’t come up in conversation very much at all with my clients and or seem to be much of a highly searched town compared to the other four in this video. My past videos of Springdale don’t do very well and I want to spend time producing content that they are searching for. Thanks again for watching.

Fyi, Springdale is great. Often overlooked. There are several new build neighborhoods in Springdale and really nice locations. Properties may be a bit less expensive in Springdale also. It has a less appealing reputation because a lot of the population has been composed of factory workers and lower socioeconomic families. This is changing rapidly as NWA continues to grow. As a real estate agent, I would have expected him to be aware of this, and it's a real blunder that he isn't sharing good information on Springdale just because it isn't getting him views.
@LivinginBentonville

Thank you for your input. Yes lots of building going on in and around Springdale… truth be told there’s really only two neighborhoods that are being built up in notable volume in Springdale (One by Rausch Coleman and the other by DR Horton) and they’re both on the east side of town. Tontotown, elm springs… both in the Springdale school district are also growing but are their own cities. As far as not producng content because I’m not getting views… I don’t operate this channel for entertainment. I do it to help inform those who are looking to move to our area, help them buy homes in their area of interest, and a large majority of folks that I speak with are more concerned with other cities besides Springdale. Something you may have missed, a major consideration for people moving here is Quality schools. According to multiple online ranking systems, Springdale is hardly ever in the conversation for those that reach out to me in that metric alone when looking for the areas best schools. Said another way…Let’s say I was operating a storefront selling ice cream. Day in and day out people came in and bought chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, Rocky Road, cookies and cream, sherbet… But as the business owner operating a profitable business, I noticed that hardly anybody ever came in And ordered pistachio ice cream…and I constantly had to throw pistachio away because it went bad costing me time, money, lost profits. Sure someone ordered pistachio every now and then, but it was taking up valuable shelf space for other flavors that more people wanted… Would you expect me to continue to carry pistachio just for the random one person that might want it every now and then? I suppose I consider Springdale pistachio ice cream… i’m more interested in providing what people are looking for. Wow… That was way too long lol happy to have conversation off-line if you’d like to discuss further. Thanks for watching.

@@LivinginBentonville I think that in the time it took you to type out that response, you could have made mention of Springdale in your video. I understand the business analogy you've made, but there are some people out there looking for some good pistachio ice cream. At the end of the day, I appreciate what you're doing with the channel and you have presented a lot of good insight. It wasn't my intent to draw into question your moral standing when I mentioned getting views. That's just how it goes. I get that. I do think Springdale is a gem in the rough and a lot of people will sleep on it when in a few years they are going to be priced out of even what's available in Springdale should things continue as they are now. Also, there are new build neighborhoods going up in northwestern Springdale as well. Schuber Mitchell has one that's moving into phase 2, and there the cottages by the park also.

I would recommend a video on racial diversity or lack there of in northwest Arkansas. Im bi-racial (white + black) & wife is Hispanic. I work for CA state law enforcement & wife is a nurse. We recently visited Brentwood & Franklin TN. The area was nice but very subtle racial overtones. We're both very politically conservative, Christian, professional, upper middle class and educated but unfortunately, books tend to be judged by their covers outside of CA. So a video on racial demographics of northwestern Arkansas would be great if you are able.

Thank you very much for your input my friend. As a member of the national Association of realtors and our local MLS board, I have a very strict guidelines and regulations when it comes to protected classes in real estate. Let me do some research on that and see if it might make sense to put together an entire video on it. Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it and thank you for watching.

I live in Springdale. NWA is very diverse. My wife is from Mexico. The Hispanic community is very large here, especially in Springdale and Rogers. Springdale also has the largest Marshallese population outside of the Marshal islands (might be larger now if you can believe that). We of course have a large African American population. Also a large Southeast Asian population. Wal-Mart being headquarters here also has brought in a sizable Indian community. So if you’re looking for diversity. NWA has it all. Last I checked we are close to 35% none white and this is growing.

I have come across Bentonville since I have gotten into mountain biking. The scenary did look flatter than I had expected. A couple of questions if you don't mind. Are there alligators in those lakes? Is the Bentonville area rather conservative or is it more mixed due to an influx of people? Would you say that this is the area in Arkansas where families move to the most and massive growth can be expected?
@LivinginBentonville
@LivinginBentonville 7 ай бұрын
Alligators?!?! No…not here. Last election Benton county voted more conservative, Washington county voted more liberal. Lots of influx and will continue to do so for the forseeable future. Should we connect? Thx for watching!

Springdale is the lowest cost of living....The old part of Springdale and the old part of Rogers is the "crime" area, but truly NWA has no "real crime"...all the violent crime is "domestic" 99% of the time(ie Husband vs Wife)... you can order a pizza to any area at 2am, you can call an ambulance at 2 am and they come to any area with out a police escort, NWA has no car-jackings or anything like that yet... Fayetteville and Bentonville are the best. Bella Vista is great, but it is all "old people"... West Springdale is where all the "money" ran from the old part of Springdale and this area is called "Harbor", Tontitown, and Elm Springs.. You will find lots of nice little towns 20 minutes from the bigger cities of Fayetteville, Rogers, Bentonville, etc....these small towns are Elkins, West Fork, Avoca, Wheeler, Farmington, Greenland, etc... If you really want to be in the most stylish area with shopping and such close by, move to Fayetteville or Bentonville... Fayetteville is "blue" and Bentonville is more "red".... All the water meters here are from Beaver Lake and we have so much water, so no risk of running out of water.... Fayetteville is college kids, "blue" younger, virtually all mostly white people with money, the University really sets the tone for Fayetteville and Fayetteville has a good night life during the school year with lots of restaurants open till 2am or later.. Bentonville is more "red" and lots of money, business class, higher income, clean, well kept, zero real crime. Springdale is all factories and a very young Hispanic population with amazing restaurants all over with amazing food. Springdale is very packed and cars parked in the streets and lots of people living in each house. Lots of food factories that stink from chicken guts. People judge Springdale as being bad, but it is honestly a great city, it is just "different", lots of poor working people just getting by. Lots of trash thrown out in the ditches and closed up shops that have plywood on the windows. People drive older beat up cars. Rogers is kind of a mix of Springdale(35%) and Bentonville(65%) Bella Vista is mostly old white people with money and they roll up the sidewalks at 6pm...Bella Vista is very clean and mostly all HOA and everything is nice and kept up.
