matija dzajevic well, you’re wrong. Frieza is easily one of the best villains in anime and both Frieza and Saiyan saga were great, Frieza saga being a bit better imo. Android saga was kinda meh, I like it because Piccolo became relevant again. Cell saga was actually amazing (being a bit biased since it’s my favorite saga) with the most compelling ending in DB history. Cell as a villain is great, a narcissistic badass who showed character flaws of every major character in the show. Buu saga was a mess, but it had some memorable moments (introducing Vegito, SSJ3, Vegeta’s sacrifice). Beerus saga was okay, SSG is a great form, elegant and deceptively strong. Beerus and Whis are two great characters (especially Beerus) which were used for expanding the lore and they enabled some parts of later arcs. Ressurection of F was okay, it didn’t have to be adapted to DBS anime (the ending still has me livid, Vegeta should’ve secured the kill). Goku Black saga was great up until the ending which is a hot mess. Black’s reveal is the best reveal in DB history and up there with the best in anime. Zamasu is a good villain, his turn to the villain side could’ve been done better. And the storyline parts are confusing. Couple that with a hot mess of a ending, it dissapointed at the end. Tournament of power was good, nothing spectacular. And if you want to say Jiren was a bad villain, that’s wrong. He’s not a villain and his whole purpose was to be the incredibly strong character which would be used as a obstacle Goku has to overcome to reach UI. Lack of explanation of how he got the power he has is kinda disappointing, but I don’t think it’s that important. All in all, DB is a good anime, it ain’t exceptional, there are definitely better animes even of the top of my head, but calling it not good is not a valid opinion.
