I also have some nostalgia for Absol. Since I loved Pokèmon Brick Bronze (R.I.P) Absol was the first ever mega Pokèmon I have ever seen since if you didn't know. You meet Absol a few times before finding out the Proffeser is the boss of team eclipse (Which is the evil team in Roria) you meet Absol again you might think that he will run away once again but he wants to join your party somebody else was with you while this is happening (I don't remember her name nooooooo I remember your rival is Jake and he always has a vapeoreon) and she sees that Absol has a mega stone and she gives you a mega something (The thing that allows you to mega evolve) and you are forced to send one of your Pokèmon to the PC if you don't have an empty slot.

Ampharos in the thumbnail of heroic Pokémon is what made me click this video. It just reminded me of my Bambi in my SoulSilver Nuzlocke, who I hatched from an Egg in Violet City, from Primo. He was so young, but damn was he a hero to my team. And like a hero, he went down fighting... the Dark type Elite Four member, Karen's Houndoom. I still miss him. 4:42 I also love how Ampharos wave at the opponent upon entering battle. That is just wholesome. Ampharos is such a wholesome Pokémon. One of my top favorites. I also absolutely love Stoutland (and Absol, pun intended), he's the goodest boi ever. I'm actually a cat person though and generally don't really like dogs, mostly because they act louder and wilder than cats, which I've experienced as calmer and quieter. But I do love Stoutland, as he's been my trusty partner in both my Black AND my White Nuzlockes (mostly in Black though as I want to use different mons, so I boxed the one Herdier I have in White), and it's one of the better Normal-types, definitely the best one you can find in Unova. And in Route 1 too! Such an amazing encounter! And both of mine - Pluto and Oscar - have Intimidate, making them even better! I also think its Gen 5 cry (grrrr-WOW-WOW) is better than its gen 6-onward cry (hhhhh-OO-OO).

I like the idea of this video. But I will say this, just as you mentioned some Pokémon may have bad people as a trainers. But the same could be said for the opposite, Pokemon that have good people for trainers. I’d like to believe that if I was a trainer I’d train all my Pokémon to help others especially in an emergency. Like if someone is falling from a great height I’d have my Gothitelle use psychic to catch them and gently lower them to safety. I’d teach it to do this sort of stuff even without commands so that if it’s ever by my side and we witnessed a tragedy Gothitelle could intervene and save lives.
