Which PortAventura Hotels are the Best Value?

This week, we explore which PortAventura hotels are the best value. Portaventura world is a huge resort with two parks (PortAventura and Ferrari World) and a whopping 6 hotels which we break down in detail. Hotel PortAventura, Hotel El Paso and Hotel Caribe are all on the gate side of the resort, while Hotel Gold River, Hotel Mansion de Lucy and Hotel Colorado Creek are all on the far side of the resort with a specific entrance into Pentinence, PortAventura's western town.
We go through each PortAventura hotels' amenities, location and overall value, and determine the pros and cons of each option. In truth, different hotels will cater to different people, and so what's best value for you might not be best value to someone else. But either way, we offer our opinion on what the best value hotel is for us, you'll have to watch to find out!

Question - I'm staying in gold river in June (all in) can you explain the drink situation to me as its very vague . Can I go to the hotel bar after the park and drink on my all in package or do I have to pay ??? Thanks

Hotel El Paso is definitely the best in my opinion, this August will be the 7th time there for me and my family!

We're due to stay at Hotel El Paso this summer. Do you have any tips that might help us get more out of our stay?

Try to use your Ferrari Land ticket on a week day if you can! If you want to spend time at the pool, do it in the middle of the day when parks are the busiest and pools are the quietest. And get to the park early to make the most of the quiet morning period. You can usually get two or three rides done before the queues start to build. Hope that helps 🙂
