Quit playing this game three years ago after 10 years of play. No premium account but bought premium tanks. The dispersion RNG was awful and getting worse. I guess WNG frowned on me for not paying for premium account. The game became no fun for me as a casual player ( 1-2 hours a day).

When the IS-3A came in the Xmas boxes years ago, I got it. I played it for a 100s of games and ended up something like the 15th ranked player on the NA server. Then the MM changed and you faced Tier X almost every game and I stopped playing it. It was a gem and great in FL.

i play 730-II, Defender, then Peregrine in that order. Yes, it was better when it came out. Also, don't forget the Lion, I know it's not a premium, but four shot autoreloader, with the third shot having 7 second reload can be really nice as long as you don't take the fourth shot.

Future crapola tanks is a good idea. I also think a complete listing - with explanations - of the types of RNG that factor into each and every battle is a great idea. Given the number, it will probably run around 45 minutes or so.

Amx 30 alt Proto has good standard pen, good mobility, and solid turret and can get good spotting as well. I like it but not sure you’d consider it one that will endure.

WG abandoned the game years ago and just produces more and more vehicles to make money. I prefer to watch rather than play, and Claus comes up with some good WOT fights. Maybe if WOT brought back the original WWII game on its own server, say, for a monthly subscription, it might bring some of the players like myself back. In the current format, there is no way I would come back to play the game.

For sure Clause that is a good idea for some videos so we can compare & see what tanks we bought that end up a good buy & which will go down as pointless & waste of resources or money. I waited like 8 yrs before i actually paid cash for a premium tank & for most part majority of the few tanks i bought are still doable in the current meta of game, Don't get me started on the wheeled vehicles though lol.

The game has issues: Running game after game getting your ass handed to you and hearing round after round narrated saying it did not do any damage, meanwhile you are getting hammered by tanks you cannot even detect. And the game moved me up because I earned a tank they offered me, and suddenly I'm in the pool with tanks I cannot damage or little damage. And I'm not going to spring 200 bucks to buy a tier 10 something. Just sayin, the match making could help this.

No Claus, the fact that he didn't ace it shows the impact the various 'boosting companies' have had on the games stats and how it affects normal players.. ie they don't get ace tanker for a worthy performance because the metrics are so skewed.

This game is so broken now, that any old school premiums IS6 T34 etc, or any old school tier 9-10 tech tree tanks are pretty much useless. I spent forever grinding out E100 and IS4 11 years ago, and they are just easy targets now. WOT is just not fun any more, and the changes made to WOWS are doing the same to that game.

My E100 is named Lilly, and my S Conq is Poppy... I LOVE my E100, some games are crap- but playing her to her strengths in any map is key- Me and a Medium were in the city of Live Oaks- did almost 8k damage, and blocked over 7k, it was the game of games- and in the E100 doing it felt so good! But yeah I get what you're saying though it can be rough, but it's like any tank, play her to her strengths.

Thanks Claus - LT432 and ELC are really nice, and definitely enduring as good premium tanks. Unless they increase the max view range, good spotting tanks should survive.

Every time I watch Claus’ channel I am saddened that watching a WoT game is almost always better than playing a WoT game. Of course it took 100s or 1000s of games played to create that single interesting video. I wonder how much longer WoT will be around? Seems like the number of players on the NA server is constantly dropping. It doesn’t take many minus 2 tier games to figure out why.

I disagree with the Löwe. I think it's a good brawling tank at T8 or Top tier games. I've done well against 9s as well. The selling point for mt on the Löwe was the turret. Small cupula, rounded turret, and, surprisingly decent turret armor. It is shit if you can't brawl without exposing any part of the tank other than the turret but it prints credits if you can play it right.

The 432 didn't rely on view range ONLY, BUT also on CVS and low noise exhaust system 😉 So yeah, on that particular CampInABushka map, it can perform better 🙄 Try to make it work on Airfield, Fjords or Mountain Pass for example, it doesn't perform so good anymore.

I got my most of my premiums when WG was doing the monthly giveaways to the veterans, the others were from loot boxes. I liked the T34-85 until I figured out that I needed more gun depression. There several that I picked foolishly as a beginner!

Power creep means any tank relying on armor (t26e4/kv5/Louvre) will be left behind. Mobility and gun handling will always be dangerous with a skilled player

I had an IS-3A in my old account...all I can say is what gun handling? LOL! Also it has an amazingly low ammo capacity so you run out of shells quick if you don't pay attention. I looked at two things with a premium tank: Pen-at level eight anything below 210 for regular shells is suspect Armor and mobility-there's some tanks that have no armor and are SLOW so unless you're a masochist run away

The Peregrine was a nice "buy" for me for 110.000 free xp. A good moneymaker for an almost free to play player like me. And yes its not a Skoda t56 or bz176 but it can be a competitive tier 8 heavy. Shoot an enemy tank 3 times for 1 shot from his side and with the normal reload you outtrade him.

I bought a type 59 12 years ago or so. I waited to get up to tier 8 in the tech tree then bought it and it was so overpowered. Playing against it sucked, but playing it right after it got discontinued was beyond fun! Still have my most matches in it. They slowly nerfed it down which was fair, but it was still incredibly fun. Stopped playing the game, tried to get back into it and was devasted with how unplayable the type 59 has become. Still decent speed, no hull armor, horrible aiming time and dispersion, bad alpha, average spotting. Just a shame

If you have replays turned on in settings then do this. Go into your pc files and find the location the game is loaded. Then search for the replays folder. All the replay files are stored in there. If you don't have replays turned on then you will just find the "last battle " replay file that overwrites itself each game.

The is3a used to be a weird auto loading is3 years ago then they tried to update it and gave it a reloader. It was the only autoloader in the game that loaded and shot one shell at a time. But didn't have a loader to kill. Now I think the gunner is the loader. But you can see why it got redone it was basically unique now it isn't.

You are right most premium heavy tanks are garbage but the Patriot is good at making credits. The skagota t 56 is decent and the 50 to is not bad. 703 is good can make credits with these as well but all the other heavies you lose credits only good for crew training. I got different ones in loot boxes over the years and never played them so I sold them to get tanks I wanted.

I cant handle the abysmal gun handling in the IS3a, at least I didn't pay for it though. Super Pershing I want a refund on ( I even asked WG for a refund). LT's your right about, Arty, (although not premium, apart form the LehF which is one of the few prem arties, are just too slow to reload and I think are going to become lees popular. Would be good to have some more honest reviews from someone that isn't on the WG pay-roll.

The game is so horrible that even some of the premiums suck, i've quit again and uninstalled, not sure if I will be back but I am having too many games that are over fast or I'm not doing anything, spent around £20 on the game and Wargaming won't be getting another penny, you do feel conned when you have paid some money on the game, feel sorry for those whales (or maybe not) who spent hundreds or thousands on this crap, its back to War Thunder or pve Armored Warfare for now until another better tank game comes along

All the tanks will be garbage so that you have to spend money. I think wg is starting to really go down hill and wants to get as much as possible as fast as possible. There are other new tank games out there now and new one coming. As long as Claus has something to comment on I will keep watching. ALWAYS a good time here.
