Certainly more puck themed videos in the library than I would have anticipated. Thankfully I’m backed by a good bunch of puckers;)

Nice, totally legit test of how players practice at home. My passes hop enough on a playing surface, I don't need that ATV assist...

Loved that John was able to join you in this one Bowing out. Lol. Too much time at home. So many puns. Ps. Next time please close the garage door. What the puck ?

I got heavy into in-line skating this summer. Near the end of the season, I started street hockey and now the world is my rink. I love it, but not enough people do to have a proper market with good choice. I love my biscuit and snipe, but each with trade offs. OG biscuit glides amazing. On good surface she is planted. And does fairly well on the rough if handled right. A direct straight hit to a proper 90 curb will send it flying back right back to your stick, but too hard a shot, or cumulative damage breaks it. It will still stick handle well, but if shot again, will shatter. Snipe stick handles decently but sluggish. It is a bit heavier and softer, wearing out fast if not just used for shooting making it harder to handle. As far as shooting, you are not breaking it unless you set out to break it. Due to the softer material, the deflection off a curb is a lot less energetic and consistent. Curbs are big for me. I’m lonely af, so a puck I can deflect off a curb is huge. I love my OG biscuit, but I have gone through two over a few months. I love that deflection energy, but it will eventually shatter. I need a good in between, and I don’t know what else is out there, let alone anything close to my biscuits.

My bro’s back at uni so I’m an equally lonely curb passer Tyson. I’ll let you know if I come across a product that blends the durability of the Snipe with the play of the OG GB because I agree that non of these products work 100% perfectly on a chewed up driveway. But for now let me say that runners train with weights in water to make them faster on land. Keep training with the pucks you got, and next your skates hit the ideal circumstances you’re gonna be flying out there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts:)

Great video guys. Thanks for spending your dosh so we didn’t have to. Looking at your driveway, the only concession I’d give all these pucks is that surface looks rough af. Lol. I usually go to a tennis court to have a knock around and the Bauer-style one that I use works really well. On your surface, I’d be going with a ball!
@MattWatsonComedy Жыл бұрын
Growing up that’s exactly what we used! But as I’ve joined a beer league hockey team in Melbourne I’ve been getting more into hockey and bought some blades and pucks when I got back home and here we are.
@Cunningcrow Жыл бұрын
@@MattWatsonComedy yeah fair enough! Growing up in Calgary, we used an old tennis ball wrapped in hockey tape during summer, and street hockey in winter we could get away with a real puck as the streets stayed covered in ice for months on end 😅

We’re on rollerblades playing one on one most nights of the week. Glad you could tell we had a lot of fun making it:) I’ve seen those field hockey sticks around Australia. I’d be willing to give it wack! Thanks for the message.

For that surface try a roll of Scotch Type 88A electrical tape. It will easily beat them all. It has yo be that exact tape not just any electrical tape.
