I can tell you the answer to your question. Once you sign away rights it's forever. I'm a professional writer and I have been signing away rights on some of my work for over 10 years. I get an upfront payment and that's it. I do have some that I make passive income from but that's a different arrangement.

except questions like does Rumble rights continue if you delete the video etc. It was a good try but these are MAJOR issues that IMO a content creator would need to know before uploading. What if I upload an original piece of music? Do they claim publishing forever on that? All kinds of questions that I would need to answer before uploading anything other than "made for rumble" videos.

I found it kinda backwards even getting their terms and conditions to display properly on their website - in my browser (Firefox) when i mouse over their info icon it shows a link in a floating window, when i try to move to the link, the floating window disappears so i cant click it! LOL 😀 Anyway, when I finally read through the T's & C's it seems like the first option makes Rumble your 'Agent', meaning they are managing the content for you - for a period of 50 YEARS! Which applies even if you delete your content from their platform. Once you agree to that licensing model, you are stuck with it for 50 years (and it automatically renews every 50 years unless you notify them in writing 90 days before the renewal date 🙂) I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing - if they are doing a good job and you make money and get paid without hassles in a timely manner, then I don't really see it as a problem. But just be aware - if you upload content under that license, you wont be doing anything else with it, anywhere else, yourself, basically forever. (Ok, 50 years, but that's almost forever 🙂)

All one has to do is read the terms and conditions instead of listening to all these wrong answers. The correct answer is that in the two managed options, Rumble retains the exclusive rights to YOUR video for 50 years.

I found out the hard way of picking the wrong license but I’m still confused. I picked the Video Managemenr license excluding KZbin. Well I’ve decided I wanted to delete some of these videos and I’m not allowed to, but some of them I can and it’s the same license. 1.) I’m not happy I don’t have control of my content. 2.) i’m extremely confused why some can be deleted and some can’t when listed under the same license. I feel like the Rumble only is the best option, you get paid less but at least you have full control of your content. Now the videos I want deleted will forever be out there.

There is one thing I do know for sure. If you choose the non monetize feature for your video, Rumble will delete it after a certain period of time. I know this because I used this feature on two of my videos and they deleted both of them after only a few months. I also know that the keep your rights monetize feature won't earn you very many views even if you try to promote your videos. I've had my videos on the air for a couple of weeks now and they have been viewed very few times.

KZbin might be biased when it comes to politics, although in my experience they only feed me content from channels I regularly watch. However, they definitely pay for videos I upload - BUT RUMBLE DON'T. I have over 9600 videos on KZbin and I've been on since July 2017. Once I was monetized (twice as they changed the rules) I was being paid for advertising. The advertising for the same content uploaded to Rumble has NEVER BEEN PAID. The only way I received anything from them at all was when I won a rumble contest and the amount earned went above the threshold value. I contacted Rumble about this and asked why they were not paying anything, even the Rumble contest wins and they never got back to me. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND RUMBLE as they only care about the major content creators with millions of subscribers.

from what I understand, and probably because of the procedure when uploading...you have to select one of the four options for EACH INDIVIDUAL video. I am attempting to use rumble (option 4) And just leave a link on my podcast notes area for listeners to view it but the audio is extracted and is presented as a podcast on Apple and all the others. I'm not interested in the monetization, but what I don't like about option 4 is you really don't exist ha ha ha

I will start eventually, but it would help if they made this a bit clearer. Also, I don't understand why they would not focus mainly on promoting the videos that they have greater ownership over. Therefore, I imagine that people who aren't choosing the most favourable option for them, would be far less likely to be promoted - which is fair enough as they are a business. Hi, thank you for this video, very clear, one question, in my analytics tab of rumble I have some views and some "ad eligible" (about 10/day), but plays/filled columns are 0. From what I can gather so far "views" are where your video will pop up as an option for users to click on where as "plays" is when the user actually clicks the video and watches it. So "views" on Rumble are the equivalent to "impressions" on KZbin and "plays" on Rumble are the equivalent to clicking on the video to watch it on KZbin. Therefore, your video has been seen as an option for the viewer to view 10 times but your plays are 0 because the viewer has not chosen to click on your video to watch it. I'm new to this too so hopefully I am on the right track and somebody can clarify this for us all 🙏✌️

Giving away your video stuff to Rumble Exclusives means you CANNOT delete your videos for the foreseeable future if you change your mind, and Rumble has these exclusive rights to your content for 50 years before giving you back your rights, providing you're still alive by then.

From what gleaned if you upload a video to youtube and then to rumble while assigning video management they can claim the video and monetize it on youtube. AKA 2 for one and also (i could be wrong mind you) if you are not monetized on YT as Rumble surely is all your videos become monetized. Seems like a win win if not monetized on YT to automatically gain monetization without needing the watch hours or subs as Rumble already did the heavy lifting. I am new to the platform but that is what i read so any insight into rightness or wrongness would be greatly appreciated!
