I put a Samsung 980 Pro in as main drive and it is soooo fast! When I restarted my 5950x the first time after installing the new drive my monitor went black and I looked at the rig to see the RGB and fans go off and come back on, but they didn't! The POST screen came up and I realized that this is so fast I never even see the flicker! And moving large files from one folder to another doesn't even give the 'status bar' time to come up. They just go! I'm serious, the 5950x driven by 980 Pro on a B550 Unify-X with 64GB RAM is a really good combination that runs sooo fast and sooo stable and actually runs nice and cool.

I noticed that my motherboard had an M.2 slot, so i'd rather take an M.2 SSD. At the moment, i'm looking at the Evo 970 Pro which is at 180€ on Amazon's Prime Day, or a P5 Plus which is at 200€. My motherboard doesn't support PCIe 4.0, but i'm leaning towards the P5 Plus for future upgrades. Do you think the P5 is a good option ? Or the 970 ? Or maybe another one ? In case that could help, here are my pc specs : Motherboard : MSI B450 Tomahawk Max CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 3600 GPU : Nvidia Geforce GTX 1660Ti Actual SSD : CT 250 MX500

Hey how you guys doing, I came across your channe seeing you guys help Viewers with various question about pc gaming l, and just thought I could seek out your guys help. I’m up recently upgraded my systems cpu and motherboard, but for some reason I can’t get any post, and I’ve narrowed it down to my ssd, or 2.5 sata.I’ve tried re installing Gpu, cpu, ram( also have another pair of working ram sticks and tried those as well) making sure all power is connected firmly along with anything connected to motherboard. Once I took out my nvme or 2.5 sata, pc boots up fine to bios, I plug in my windows installer via USB key, and it boots fine, problem is I can’t install windows because I’m unable to post with any sort of storage device. I’ve bought numerous nvme’s brand new, and still same situation. And it’s not the motherboard, cuz I’ve bought 2 other motherboards and same situation. So I counted out the motherboard, and also cpu works completely fine on my old motherboard. I’ve checked QVL list and my nvme’s both compatible with motherboard along with cpu. Only thing that isn’t, is my ram sticks, would thought cause system incompatibility with other components? Below is my old build that functions perfect. Cpu: i7-10700 Gpu: rog strix Rtx 3060 Motherboard: ASROCK b460 steel legend Ram: G.skill ripjaws f4-3200C16D-32GVK Also have hyper x fury HX426C16FB/16 x2 Power supply: EVGA gt series 850w Storage: Team mp33 pro 2tb Samsung ssd 980 1tb New build: i9-10900k Gpu: same as old build Motherboard: Msi z490 tomahawk Ram: same as old build Power supply: same as old build Storage: same as old build And for a note, both those ram sticks aren’t on my new Mobos QVL list, so I’m thinking it’s causing some sort of incompatibility issues throughout the motherboard. Please help 😭

Now they are back to 115+ Euro lately and i will rather buy an cheap 4.0 SSD for 120 Dollars than an old 3.0 Drive. Also… why the Fuck are SATA SSDs so extrem expensive? Compared to HDDs and M.2 i mean. There are some really cheap ones there as well (M.2) who only can read about 1500MB but they are cheaper than SATA. ßthat i dont get. I know there was some Issue in the only Factory that makes NAND (that’s Dumb to begin with but yeah…) but this Price Issue has been persistent for a really long Time now. In my Opinion an SATA SSD should not be more expensive than 50 Dollars for 1TB. But they kinda start at that Price and go up to around 100+ Euro. Its really stupid.
